I am reluctantly selling my Caddy due to joining the Parachute Regiment this year and buying a motorbike as I no longer have use of the Caddy and have no time to continue the renovation project. The car like many of it's age is not perfect, there is rust none of which is structural. There is tax for another 5 months and an M.O.T until December 2013 The Caddy has coil-overs on the front and a flipped rear axle. The bad points first: There is surface rust forming on the truck bed which is easily sorted with some sanding and repaint (weekend job) The front tyres need replacing and the tracking needs doing The Alternator has been a little ropey (not charging the battery) as it slips out of adjustment from time to time but simply requires a new pivot bolt to hold it firm as the current is just a little old and worn and doesn't do its job anymore (new bolt is 3.57 from GSF) There is no stereo or speakers currently fitted but all the wiring is there. Some of the body and the tailgate has bits of surface rust forming and it could do with a re paint eventually. Small bits of welding here and there to do still. Good points: Engine is brilliant even with the high mileage, never had a single engine fault to the exception of replacing a fuel injector seal which had corroded! Starts fine and the gearbox is smooth and clutch is sound. Every function this car has works fine. So much fun to drive a really enjoyable car! No dents anywhere on the body except a couple in the truck bed (which is very straight as Caddy's go) Will include the original Hella headlights as I have put on some angel smoked headlights recently. Spec: Hoffman B-rad frame Tyres are fit FAF's Wheels are front: Primo M4 front hub with built in hubgards, we polished the hub body which is a nice touch you won't find anywhere else as it doesnt come as stock in that finish. (sandblasted and spent hours polishing the body) Primo forged spokes in limited edition metallic red and a Primo rim i forget the name of. Back: same rim and spokes with a Primo mix cassette 9t runs like a dream. Cranks: Dk socials 48 spline Pedals: Fly Rubens (plastics) bit of wear on them but new plastics will cost like £20 Forks: WeThePeople Scavengers Seat: Limited edition Duo X Defgrip seat (fucking lovely by the way) Stem: Cult something can't remember but spot on! Bars: Macneil Silencers or if you prefer I have a set of T1's which i can put on. Both these sets of bars are 28.5 wide with an 8 inch rise and slight back sweep. Shitty fly Ruben grips but again not expensive to replace as you well know. The brake is not installed but it's all Odyssey and the set up was just under a hundred quid and I'll throw it in as well. Sprocket: Another Cult part i forget the name of but is 28t which runs beautifully. Usage: I have ridden this bike a lot and there is some flattening of the rear dropout (right side) from grinding but nothing major.
