A beautiful Carbon Fibre De Rosa Merak built up bike - 2004 MUCH LOWERED PRICE as of Jan 23. Take ME HOME! Our friend gave up cycling and gave us a bunch of really nice bikes that have been stored for over 5 years, but I cleaned this one up and it still looks good. He used this on his trainer previously. This is a well cared for bike by someone who used to manage a bike shop. Measurements: Approximately a “61 cm” frame. The previous rider was 6’2” Top tube 56 cm Seat Tube 60.5 cm 125 cm 3T RRX-Pro stem (Can swap with any number of other stems he gave us if you like) PRO Handlebar (31.8 mm) Campangolo RECORD Groupset – 2x9 setup. Fizik Arione Saddle. (Also now have a selection of saddles that you can also choose from!) Carbon De Rosa Fork You’ll note a patch of the yellow paint missing from the top tube. 2022 IBIS Mojo4 in pretty darned like new condition. Still a super shiny paint job! Size LARGE. (Good for most folks 5'7" to 6'1" ). I bought in December and stopped riding after about 8 weeks. I almost immediately realized the geometry was wrong for my body type and riding style. I'm a tall torso, XC racer and thought I could make this work for me. I didn't get to ride it before I bought! My loss is your gain? I've spent about $6200 for this Carbon fibre super lightweight (29 lb) climbing machine. With the 35mm rims, its also a majorly capable descending machine too! So...I'm willing to take MORE than $1000 off here for my mistake! 140 mm Frt/130 mm rear travel...on 27.5" wheels to make it super agile. Equipped per the Ibis website- with the SLX package, 35 mm Aluminum rims and the Bike Yoke Revive 185mm dropper post. What stands out about this bike? Climbing super steeps is GREAT. Descending is soooo stable and sure. The 2.6" tires on these wide rims make turns really confident too. Willing to trade for another GOOD Downcountry styled bike? (As long as it fits me!)
