Very lightly ridden and well looked after. There are a few very small marks/scratches and one crank arm has been replaced by a used one of the same model, otherwise it’s in perfect condition. Thus is a tandem that can be packed into a suitcase for travel. It can also be configured as a single bike if you want to ride by yourself. I bought it new in 2003, but have not ridden it much - around 1000 miles as a single and 100 miles as a tandem. It is 24 speed with a combination of eight speed Ultegra shifters and derailleur, and a three speed SRAM hub gear. The front wheel has a hub generator connected to a front light, and the back wheel has a drum brake for drag braking. Two suitcases are included as well as a Bike Friday trailer that can carry the suitcases should you want to use the bike for touring. Sizing can be adjusted to accommodate a 5’8” to 6’1” captain, and a 5’0” to 6’0” stoker. Pictures are the bike set up as a single.
