The road was long from Fort William to Leogang. Six hours overnight on the ferry then sixteen hours on the road again, but Austria is definitely one of the nicest place of the world cup circuit. Unfortunately they decided to organize a world cup on a bike park track with 80% artificial corners and rock garden... which in our opinion is pretty boring to ride. Anyway the goal was still to be the fastest and as the track was very easy, everybody was fast and it was hard to make the difference. The qualification was the tightest we have ever saw and even with a good run and close to the first place time Cyrille did not qualify. Morgane, Florent, and Toni were very focused and had high confidence for the final.
"My goal is to be on the podium, I have everything to do it, I have to trust in myself . I have to ride without the bad pressure and to enjoy my run." - Morgane Charre, 9th
"I had a pretty good run even if I made a big mistake in the middle fast section, I was on time to the top 20, but when you push hard it’s happen. I am closer and closer of the top 20 and I stay focused on my goal." - Florent Payet, 25th
"My run was not bad some mistake and may be not pushing enough. It was a strange race, one mistake and you loose everything." - Toni Ferreiro, 51th
"I had a good run pushing, smooth but not enough to be in the cut. The feeling is strange my time are closer and closer from the first position each races but I stay positive and continue to train for the next one." - Cyrille Kurtz, 121st
