Gawton - UK riding just got even better!
err… yes… I think we got a bit over enthusiastic with that. We’ll be doing a modification to lower it a bit in the next couple of weeks. As it stands you could probably jump all the way over the river and land in Cornwall if you tried really hard!!

Gawton - UK riding just got even better!
Please be aware that Gawton is built on private land. A lease is now held by the Woodland Riders Downhill Mountain Bike Club based in Tavistock, West Devon which allows members to ride there. Thus you must be a member of the club to ride at Gawton (and our other riding area, Woodlands). Non-members are trespassing and are liable to be prosecuted by the Landowner!! Annual membership is £25/£15 (Adult/Junior). Membership can be obtained via our web site (www.woodlandriders.com) or from Dartmoor Cycles in Tavistock (www.dartmoorcylces.co.uk)

With any luck we'll be open by the end of this year. We're in the final stages of the legal stuff and there are a few more construction issues to resolve, then we're there

Remember this video was taken at a site that is not yet open. The riders in the video had the landowners permission for this test ride. Even if you know where it is, you do not have permission to ride there (yet). The site will be publicised once it is open, which should not be too long now.
