1963 Schwinn Varsity_ALL ORIGINAL

$595 USD
1963 Schwinn Varsity I hate to sell it, but I just don't have the bandwidth to get 'er restored right now. I know parting it out is an option, but it pains me to think this ALL ORIGINAL vintage bike won't stay complete. Are you out there... Somebody to love, pamper, and restore this gem of mine. She should be in movies or at a museum. Let me be clear... She runs just fine as is. I suggest restoring only to make her great again. Original everything: rear cargo rack, headlight, generator, bottle cage, saddle, downtube shifters, crankset, pedals, etc. 10-speed Huret Derailleur and even the original reflectors. Ask away, and I'll answer what I can. I'm only the 2nd owner in 60+ years. Call/Text Chad 858.9hundred.59hundred

FAST! FAST! FAST!

$5555 USD
FAST! FAST! FAST! Please text/call... I am rarely on Pinkbike. Chad 858.9hundred.59hundred Original Owner Bought this bike new after a podium finish at Cactus Cup and absolutely LOVE the weight and speed of it. I'll have to weigh it again, but I think it sinks the scale to a whopping 23 lbs... WITH PEDALS! Wheel Size - 29" Frame Material - Carbon Fiber Frame Material Details - Carbon CC with internal cable routing and built in chainstay/downtube protection Rear Travel - 100mm Rear Shock - FOX Float Performance DPS with remote Fork - FOX Step-Cast 32 Performance Elite with remote Fork Travel - 100mm Head Tube Diameter - Tapered Headset - Cane Creek 40 IS Integrated Handlebar - SCB XC Carbon Flat Stem - Syntace LiteForce Brakes - SRAM Level TLM with CLX Centerlock 160mm rotors Brake Levers - SRAM Level TLM Shifters - SRAM X01 Eagle, 12-speed Rear Derailleur - SRAM X01 Eagle Cranks - SRAM X1 Eagle Carbon 148 DUB, 170mm (S), 175mm (M-XL) Front Chainring - 34 tooth Bottom Bracket - 73mm threaded Pedals - None included Chain - SRAM X01 Eagle Cassette - SRAM XG1295 Eagle, 10-50 tooth, 12-speed Rims - Santa Cruz Reserve 25 Carbon Hubs - Industry Nine (I9) Spokes - DT Swiss Competition Race Tires - Specialized Ground Control GRID 2Bliss Saddle - WTB Silverado Team Seatpost - Syntace P6 Carbon HiFlex 31.6mm Rear Dropout / Hub Dimensions - Boost, 12mm x 148mm Color - Matte Carbon Black VPP suspension Shifter Lock Out Strava says I've put 1,255.7 miles (per Strava) on the Blur. Aside from riding around to lube the grupo and cruising campsites, it should be pretty accurate. That's roughly 25 miles/month. I have most recently added the Reserve Wheels and bought new Winter & Summer brake pads, new Ground Control Grid 2Bliss tires (lubed with Orange sealant), new silicone grips, and a new XO1 chain. My mouth is watering just typing this stuff. Normal wear and tear, a few superficial scratches, and a decent ding in the right-side crankarm (see photo), but I'm told it's of no significant concern. I'm not going to be racing much anymore, so I'm looking to move toward an all-mountain platform to ride with the girlfriend and buddies of my older generation. Not throwing in the towel yet, but I'm caring for my elderly mother these days, and just don't have the time to ride and train. Thanks for checking out the bike. Please ask questions and I'll tell you all that I can. The bike retailed at $9,400 new when I ordered it from Santa Cruz. Current retail for a similarly outfitted 2024 Blur CC X01 from Santa Cruz runs approximately $10,000. Call/text Chad 858.9hundred.59hundred
