Chromag Rootdown BA

$1950 CAD
Blue Chromag Rootdown BA Size M/L Pretty much stock from new Everything kept in good working order and serviced regularly Hasn't been ridden a ton. I have two young kids and my riding time is pretty limited these days. This year I only rode it one time (sad) due to life circumstances. Rather than have it sitting around I'd like to see it go to someone who will use it as it is meant to ne ridden. One of the funnest bikes I've ever had. You can take it anywhere and have a good time. Handles rowdy terrain better than you would expect and it'll get you there in style. It's a great bike that is ready to go whenever and wherever you are.

First Ride: Giant's 2020 Reign E+ Wants to Go Big
@gramboh: couldn't agree more. Our local trails are seeing more and more wear and tear from increased volume of traffic from people on e-bikes but we sure haven't seen an uptick in those same people volunteering for trail days!

The Privateer: Visiting Fox Racing & Pivot Cycles Plus New Bike Day
@lalalalaura: Thanks for writing this. I saw Adam at TransBC and although I recognized who he is from The Privateer series I never expected him to be doing anything other than just be out riding his bike. TBC is a tough race and I often found myself in the same boat as Adam, by myself on the liasons trying to conserve myself for the coming stage. I felt that he was either preparing for a coming race or there to get some time in. He was always polite when I saw him and I don't understand why people expect more than that. He doesn't owe anyone anything and unlike certain riders representing Yeti his quiet demeanour was refreshing. Not everyone needs to be loud and obnoxious to get attention. Good luck to him this season and keep up the good work!

Field Test: Stumpjumper vs Remedy vs Process vs Bronson vs SB150
My Rootdown has a *gasp * pressfit bb and it has never been an issue in 3 seasons of riding. I get the preference for threaded but I don't see why it's such a deal killer for some. If it's going to be a problem on any bike you would think a hardtail that gets ridden hard on rocky terrain would be it. That is, of course, my own experience so far.
