http://www.schoeckl-trail-area.at/blog/sta-xmas-charity-by-the-gap-mountainbiking-samstag-30-november/On saturday, november 30th our 3rd STA Xmas Charity takes place at Schoeckl near Graz: Our park has the longest bike season of the whole alps, with our Xmas Charity riders can collect money for people who really need some help! This time we ride for Michaela who is confined to a wheelchair after a heavy crash in a bikepark last year and for the 14 year old Sebastian who lost his leg cause of bone cancer. Michaela needs a new car (with enough space for her wheelchair!) and Sebastian wants a prosthesis which enables him to cycle again...
Michaela crashed hard in a bikepark last year - she overjumped a big double. Since the crash she´s bound to a wheelchair...
14 year old Sebastian was a sports minded kid when he lost his leg cause of bone cancer - now he wants to cycle again which means he needs some money for a special prosthesis.
Xmas Charity means that the gravity scene meets at Schöckl Trail Area to ride for full 6 hours at our local trails - riders can use every track of Schoeckl Trail Area, we count the uplift service...the more riders and the more runs the more money we can fund to Michaela and Sebastian!
The trail conditions on November 30th are the big question mark - on the fist issue in 2016 all trails were full of dust from top to bottom:
...one year later all trails were covered with snow
Right now, just 10 days before the event, there is no snow from top to bottom!
