Selling my son's very little used Scott Spark RC Team 900 in size Large, since he is off at university and concentrating on road riding. Bought new from Mud, Sweat & Gears Ltd, Weymouth, in March 2019. It is the 2018 Model Year. Receipt available. This is a superb XC race bike as Nino Schurter continues to prove. Set up tubeless. Just added new tubeless milk. Once that starts to dry out a little it will again drop below the magic 11kg mark. :-) The bike is stock with any upgrades shown below. Everything is working. Brakes are freshly bled, Twinloc adjusted, transmission serviced with new chain and new Bottom Bracket. Frame: RC Carbon HMF, 100mm travel Shock: Fox Nude trunnion mount Fork: Fox 32 SC Float Performance, 100mm travel Wheels: Syncros XR 2.5 BOOST hubs, Syncros XR 2.5 rims, Tyres (UPGRADE): Front: Nearly new Schwalbe Racing Ray Evo Addix 2.25; Rear: Nearly New Schwalbe Thunder Burt Evo Addix 2.25 (+ extra Racing Ralph Evo Addix 2.25, also almost new, but with a puncture repair) Chainset: SRAM X1 1000 Eagle, 32t, (Very little use, since my son upgraded to a carbon chainset (sold separately) Group: SRAM GX Eagle 12 speed rear mech and shifter Bottom Bracket: SRAM (Brand New) Cassette (UPGRADE): SRAM X01 XG-1295 (used with plenty of life left). Saves over 100g vs stock GX pinned cassette and shifts much better. Chain: SRAM GX (Brand New) Brakes: SRAM Level T levers & Level TL calipers, 180/160 SRAM centreline rotors (Stock were Level TL levers, but one of the master cylinders was sticky so replaced them with the Level T. Slightly heavier, but bigger reservoir. Work great. Most weight difference is in the calipers anyway. Components: (UPGRADE) ProTharsis XC Carbon handlebar, Syncros XR1.5 80mm stem, Syncros XR2.0 saddle Seatpost: NEW ETC Aluminium post. (My son ran a KS LEV dropper post, sold separately) Gold Titanium bolts added in a few places. I will include a brand new frame bushing set. I bought it a while back, but it has not needed to be changed yet. No play. I will also include a second Twinloc lever. The stock one fitted is for underbar operation. The other one I bought (£90) for overbar operation works better with a dropper post trigger. However, I have lost one internal spring. But since the spring is the same on either Twinloc lever and you won't ever fit both levers at once, just fit the spring to the lever you are using. Condition: The bike is in EXCELLENT condition. All working. Cosmetically there is only 1 significant mark, on the drive side chainstay. This was caused by my son's big feet and slight duck-footed stance, before we noticed and taped up with protective film. I removed the tape to phototgraph for the sale. The paint is so thin, this rub literally happened on the first 2 rides. There are a few blisters on the invisframe top tube film. I can remove this if you want. There was some rubbing of the front disk brake bolts on the bottom of the Non-Drive side fork lower leg casting. This was due to wrong choice of non-shallow titanium bolt heads. Although this can be seen if you look close, it does not degrade the function of the fork at all. Please note the brakes are set up European/ American, with the Right = Rear and Left = Front. This can easily be changed, but the front hose is shortened to the left-hand position and likely not long enough for the right-hand position. Makes no difference to the rear hose as frame exit side can be re-routed internally. If you want this changed, I can fit and bleed, but may need to negotiate cost for a new hose and olive.
