Suitable for 5' 6" to 6' 1" riders. PERFECT Frame for CONVERSION to ELECTRIC! I bought it used a couple of years ago in excellent condition. Was $7,500 new. Still , I upgraded with new components, where needed. Unfortunately, I barely been rode it. I suffered 4 ruptured discs in a fall down steps. NO DENTS OR ABRASIONS ON BIKE ANYWHERE! Minor scuff at a cable contact. Can be rubbed out.
Crank, front and rear derailleurs, shifters: Sram XX Super Set are all in Excellent condition!

Rear Tire: New! Cross Max High Roller 26" 2.3 w/tube. Though, its set up Tubeless. If you change back to a tubeless tire, you'll lose a couple pounds!
Front and Rear Brakes: Brand New Shimano SLR Hydraulic Calipers, Pads, One Touch, One Finger Brakes!
Front and Rear Rotors: Brand New Shimano SLT Pro Center - ICE 203's!
Front Stem: Richey WCS - some scratches

What do some XC riders say about the El Saltamontes?
1. Mtbr: "4.9 out of 5.0" El Saltamontes Frameset:
https://www.mtbr.com/product/bikes/frameset/ventana/el-saltamontes.html
2. Mtbr: Full Frame Suspension El Saltamontes: "t just does anything very smothly. Corners are easy, jumps are soft. I used to be a little scared of tall jumps, but now they are funny and pleasurous. And I pedal about 3 inches higher than any other biker.
https://www.mtbr.com/product/bikes/xc-suspensio/ventana/el-saltamontes.html
Dirt Rag: "light enough to race, relaxed enough to ride all day and able to handle dicey terrain. Geometry is slightly relaxed by XC standards: 70.5° head angle, 600mm top tube, 1,087mm wheelbase, 13.2” BB height. It is also bright orange. And the paint and welds are better than what is on your bike."

Your bike is absolutely awesome! However, I can't imagine it being a medium. I'm 5' 10". Is there a way the seat post can be lowered enough so I could ride it? Thanks. How are the shocks and the rear fork/springs? Thanks!
