a steel frame would be more ideal for park/street/dj, but i've never ridden the ryde before, although my friend (demo4life) has an 08 norco 250 that also had every part upgraded on it. it rides a lot more bmxey than my bike... he's quite a bit taller than me, but his bike has a shorter toptube, steeper head angle (with a 100mm gold label vs. a ~92mm pike), and shorter chainstays. a friend of the bike shop owner also got the 08 norco 250 - the box came in a couple of days ago, the guy was trying out a black market 357, a specialized p1 and settled on the norco.

for the park, the 125 is good, but it's longer compared to my friend's park specific dobermann. it's got a pretty balanced bb height, not nearly as low as the p-series, but not as high as a dobermann's. i had an 08 p2 for a couple of weeks and didn't like the way it rode in the park, the bb was just too ridiculously low. the 125 is more of a 4x specific frame, with a slack (68.5) head tube angle and longish chainstays, so don't expect to spin very easily. manuals are fun with it though, once you get used to it. i'm 5'9" and ride the shorter of the two sizes (small?)

it's also my first dj/street/park bike, coming from xc, so don't expect too much out of me lol, my bike is sort of too good for my riding level right now

and yeah, i never have time or never bring my camera around with me, so i don't really have any videos yet. i'm also too lazy to spend time to get acquainted with any moviemaking software, my friend got new sony vegas software though, so mid-season i'll be in a movie

lol thanks, well with a job over the winter months and not much else to spend the earnings on, my bike has gotten considerable upgrades over the stock version - the only thing still stock other than the frame would be the headset and top cap, lol.
the good thing about the bike is that it comes complete at 34 pounds flat, with heavy tires (900-990g tires). it's got tons of room for improvement weight-wise
and also, if you're hard on wheels and do spins, watch out for the rear singletrack.

thanks, they're kona wah wah pedals. 80 bucks for sealed, thin, grippy, and light pedals. one of the lightest aluminum pedals out there
