Trek Marlin 7 17.5 M 29er with UPGRADES

$690 USD
This bike I bought as an extra mtb as a left over deal at my shop. I put about 300 dollars in upgrades into the bike such as brand new Maxxis Ardent tires. Brand new The bike is a great XC hardtail and is fun with that rockshox 100mm front shock it makes for a fun XC bike. This bike comes kitted with tekro airis hydro brakes and a 1x9 drivetrain with a 34t chainring. Brand new cassette installed in the rear as well as brand new Kmc chain and a new crankset. The 1x9 makes the bike handle like a dream! Will ship but buyer pays shipping. PayPal goods and services only.

Walmart Launches High-End 'Viathon' Bike Brand
@madmon: I do not think these will be sold in stores and I dont think they will be assembled by the normal Walmart employees.

@goldstreamubrew: agreed I dont think the sport itself is that expensive to begin with... compare it to soccer or a team based sport that shit is 500 dollars a month!

Walmart Launches High-End 'Viathon' Bike Brand
@bizutch: I think they are trying to reach a wider range of people in the community. Perhaps they took advice from the customers for once bc I for one have always wanted to see this happen. That bike if the carbon is good and is made by a solid company will be a killer bike for the price no doubt. And with Walmart's return policy of 90 days if you dont like it on the 89th day just roll it to a Walmart and return no questions asked.

I think this is not really aimed at that audience. This bike is a insane value though if the frame holds up I have been looking for an XC crosscountry hardtail lately. I love my fuel ex 8 but she is a heavy gal

There's a New Aluminum Version of the Trek Slash
Awesome Colors! I have a Trek Fuel ex 8 2017 and i like it! the 130mm is enough travel and the bike is very agile and responsive. I know Trek gets alot of hate but they make a damn good bike. I like my Fuel Ex 8 and i plan to ride it for years to come.
