The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 126 - "One More Run" and Other MTB Superstitions
Superstitions are why we have stupid religions. "Hey, some dude prayed to a god name Fdkjghpwioe and it didn't rain today! I am praying to Fdkjghpwioe from now on to prevent rain!" Then, when it does rain, it was just because Fdkjghpwioe was angry and we didn't pray hard enough. Same thing about wearing the same stupid socks are saying "last run". Closest thing I have to "rituals" is habits to make sure I don't forget stuff. Like always leaving my keys and wallet in the same place so I won't lose them from faulty memory, not because I think there is some sort of significance to those habits.

First Look: The New Unno Burn Looks Absolutely Wild
@nurseben: Both of my internal routed bikes are easy to work on. I would actually say that the internal on my XC bike is EASIER than external. Just push the cable housing all the way through until it appears on the other side, no zip ties, clips, no damage when riding, etc. My enduro bike is only slightly harder, and about as hard as any external I have had. Neither go through the headset though.

First Look: Öhlins 'New and Improved' TTX22m.2 Shock
Luckily I still like the TTX that came on my 2018 E29, so I feel no desire to upgrade.

First Impressions: Tom Bradshaw & Christina Chappetta Ride the Best Trails in Tallahassee, Florida
I feel like "dirt biking" needs to be stolen from the motorcycle crowd for these instances.

What’s the Significance of the Specialized Direct-to-Consumer Move? It’s Complicated.
@igxqrrl: Conveniently, Jenson is my LBS. Several of the employees at the main warehouse follow me on Strava so when I walk in to pick up my order, they great me by name. Pretty handy, actually.

Opinion: You Should Be Fixing Your Own Bike
@gnarnaimo: Yeah, that is Gen X. Not sure which generation is more responsible for "kids these days", but they are certainly at fault. Amazing how people my age and older bitch about kids, when they are the ones responsible for creating our service economy.

Tech Randoms: EWS Tweed Valley 2022
My GF is riding a pretty nice Transition Patrol that was owned by a 10 year old. So, fancy parts on kids bikes can be handy for some adults

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 124 - Bike Parks or E-Bikes?
@SoCalTrev: Weekdays isn't an option. I am not taking a vacation day to ride SP, better places to burn vacation on. Not interested in spending that much money to be surrounded by that many people on eBikes. I can ride for free (minus fuel) with very few to no bikes not far away in Big Bear (which is what the GF and I did this past weekend).

One of the selling points is all the parts can be transferred to subsequent bikes. Pay once, cry once.
