First Look: The 2024 Fox 32 Step-Cast Fork Has a Reverse Arch
As a bit of an XC racer bro, a super light XC hardtail is a blast to ride. I'm afraid of doing back to back testing with my "down country" XC bike because I want my DC bike to be faster because it is also more fun. But I might try this year.
Just went to a 34SC from a 32SC. I never really thought the 32 was holding me back much, but the 34 was on sale, and the black lowers look better, and my GF could really use a 32 on her XC bike, so I had to go DC.

Don't care.
Have both. I don't travel without my van. I don't swap wheel sets between bikes. I've never had a problem with either system.

@warmerdamj: true, I get a few weeks out of the Di2 on my roadie. I'm guessing 500-1000 miles. I've drained an AXS battery on one MTB ride a couple of times.

@AndrewFleming: You can turn on a notification on a Garmin that will let you know when you are in your highest and lowest gears. With the total lack of feedback through the shifter it is nice to have that beep to let you know.

@warmerdamj: interesting, I have no problems with the AXS XX1 shifter on one bike, and mechanical X01 on the other bike. Though I will be swapping AXS for mechanical soon as I just don't like dealing with batteries.
The worst is the Dura AceDi2, I hate those. And also hate batteries.

Review: Knolly Chilcotin 170 - They Haven't Just Straightened the Top Tube
I haven't weighed my bike in years, but when I did it was it was 35 pounds without water or anything in the down tube. So I'm probably pushing 38 pounds when I rode, and that feels totally fine to me.

Pinkbike Poll: What's the Duration of Your Average Weekend Ride?

I also slow down my running to match her pace too.
