First Ride: Manitou's New R8 XC Fork
From an OCD perspective, I get it. On the other hand, it's not like swapping brake and gas pedal.

First Ride: Manitou's New R8 XC Fork
Since it is an Olympic event you'll expect to see a 4ish cycle on new products. More eyeballs are on the sport than normal.

SRAM Releases S-1000 Budget Transmission Drivetrain
@chadbrochills: I spend roughly 20 hours a week riding bikes. Absolutely insane for me not to pop the battery on the charger between rides.

SRAM Releases S-1000 Budget Transmission Drivetrain
@venturavin: dude, your opinion is total invalid since you consider anyone who doesn't like electronic shifting to be a "luddite". Never mind that I have tried it on three bikes. I just used XX1 AXS on my race Sunday, I dropped GX AXS from my trail bike, and my road bike is still Dura Ace Di2. You can call me a luddite all you want, but your opinion is crap since you already have a bias against anyone who doesn't like electronic shifting. I'm looking at my road bike as I speak, leaned against my locker at work with the Garmin 1030, Garmin Varia, and Cycliq headlight plugged in. Once the Garmin is done I will top off the Di2 battery just in case (should be fine actually). But I'm such a tech hating luddite.

SRAM Releases S-1000 Budget Transmission Drivetrain
@venturavin: if I charged my AXS battery every two months, I would be riding a single speed for 7 weeks. I charge every ride. Anything less than every day is insane. And yeah, I'm going back to mechanical too. I offered the AXS to my girlfriend for free (well, trade) and she said no. She sees how frustrating it is to deal with while her X01 and XX1 both just work.

SRAM Releases S-1000 Budget Transmission Drivetrain
I use the full range of the 10-52/51/50 on my bikes every ride. We don't all ride the same way in the same terrain.

First Look: KOM Xeno Infinity Drive Hubs Push from the Disc Side
@L0rdTom: I just get the feeling this is a bad idea. My thought process is the biggest local business supporter of mountain biking in my area is a metal fab shop (Baghouse). But no one is running discs made by them. Why wouldn't they if they are so easy to make?

OneUp Announces New Hubs
@voler-1: Well, I never liked coffee, or beer, so I guess I'm not a cyclist. Even more concerning, I'm a former sailor.

Bike Check: Peter Kaiser's Trek Ticket S
@William42: Sure, it's not the same, but my GF bought a Transition off a 9 year old with Fox Factory suspension, XX1, and carbon wheels. Maybe he was 10.
