For Sale/Trade: Flow Drift + minor upgrades

$300 GBP
Due to lack of use, I'm selling my Flow Drift (I can't quite remember what year it is; I've been out of the riding game for a while, possibly a 2008). Originally paid £800 from new, and since then I've swapped the original Marzocchi DJ3s for an older set of DJ3s with a 20mm axle. I think the seals on the forks have perished, as the compression is fairly soft and adding air has no effect. The front wheel was also rebuilt to accommodate the new forks, adding a red Hope Pro II hub. Everything else on the bike is stock. Ideally, I'd like cash for the bike in order to pay for a car (or indulge my somewhat unhealthy guitar habit), but I'm also in the market for a 26" geared DJ hardtail so that I can get back into riding, as the Flow has proven a bit too small for me. So I will consider trades to that effect. Local pickup in the south Devon area is preferred, mainly in the Exeter or Newton Abbot area. Thanks for looking

Oh, as an after-thought, you could check the serial number to see how old it is. If it works the same way as my Ibby, you'll have something like CP0101****. CP being the factory (this doesn't really matter). The first two numbers should be your year, so 01 would be 2001. Next two will be a month, so 0101 would be January 2001, and the last four numbers will be between 0001 and 9999, which is your guitar's number in the production line.

Looks like one of the GSR series. The closest model number I can offer is GSR180, but that's just a point of reference since your pickups are different. Either way, I would guess that you've got an older GSR series there. And Ibanez are pretty good quality all the way across their product line.

That's a 10W amp. The power consumption is 22W, not the output. Don't worry, everyone makes this mistake. The output wattage or speaker size is usually in the model. Anyway, it's not a bad little starter amp, I own one myself.

Yeah, it's only in the paint layer. I think it's because Ibanez (the Korean-made ones, anyway) make their necks a little bit too wide at the heel so it fits tighter. Either that, or the paint layer is a little too thick and cracks when the neck is bolted on. Either way, it's only cosmetic. Doesn't compromise the structural integrity at all. Most of the time, you hardly even notice it :)

Don't worry too much about this. It happens to pretty much every Ibanez RG. It's even happened to mine :)

There's a difference between Wattage going in, and RMS wattage coming out.

The MG15DFX is a 15W amp with digital effects, not 45W. The Marshall small amps go up in wattage like this: 10, 15, 30, 50, 100 etc. Just sayin'...
