I have had this bike since it came out, and have maintained it myself. It has been ridden hard and that is reflected in the price, but it is also a sturdy aluminum frame that still has life left. For the good: the rear shock is almost brand new, it has very few miles on it. The drivetrain was also entirely replaced recently and shifts great. The fork has been serviced throughout its life and does not have any stanchion damage. Wheels are true, and have cushcore so there are no dents in the rims. All frame bearings were replaced recently. As for the bad: there is some minor cosmetic damage. A decent portion of the frame has had frame protection on it since day 1, but there is some paint missing around the chainstay/bottom bracket, as well as some scratches in the cockpit area. The only part that doesn’t perform mechanically is the dropper post. If you want a well functioning dropper it will need to be rebuilt or replaced. The tires have about 30-50% tread left. There is also a slight creak that can be heard while pedaling. I have done my best to diagnose it but was unsuccessful. I did take it to the bike shop to have the frame thoroughly inspected and it’s not a frame issue. This is my 2022 Specialized p3 dirt jumper. It is the stock build except that I removed the front brake because it’s more typical to only have a rear brake for this style of bike. I can include the front brake in the sale. This bike is in great shape, I bought it two years ago thinking I was going to ride it more often and have gravitated towards other bikes instead. Functionally it is perfect and there are only some minor cosmetic blemishes on the fork stickers, handle bars, brake lever, and grips. The frame itself is nearly spotless, the wheels are true, and the Rockshox pike fork performs great. I would prefer to sell local, but I could also ship for the right price.
