Sep 9, 2012Marin Rift Zone XC 8 - 17.5"
$650 GBPFor sale is a 2011 Marin Rift Zone XC 8 17.5" frame built up with the spec from a 2004 Marin Mount Vision. I'm looking for £650 for the bike but would consider splitting for the right price.
The original Mount Vision frame developed a crack near the bottom bracket due to a manufacturing fault in 2011 and Marin replaced the frame under the lifetime warranty. The new Mount Vision frame was designed around a 140mm travel fork whilst the 2004 model was designed around a 100mm fork. Therefore we were sent the Rift Zone frame, which is suitable for a 100mm fork. The original components are in great condition, considering the age, with just a few cosmetic marks on them. The Rift Zone frame is in as new condition and has only been used a few times in the past year. The bike has been well looked after: cleaned/lubricated after every ride and has had new tyres (Continental Mountain Queen: 2.2) about 3 rides ago
Spec is as follows:
Frame: Marin Rift Zone XC8 2011
Frame: Fork: Fox Float RL, 100mm with rebound adjustment, lockout and air spring preload
Rear Shock: Fox Float RP2 with ProPedal (2011)
Shift Levers: Shimano Deore XT Dual Control
Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT
Crankset: Shimano Deore XT M-760, 22/32/44 teeth
Bottom Bracket: Shimano Deore XT
Cassette: Shimano 9-speed, 11 - 32 teeth
Chain: Shimano CN-HG92
Seatpost: Ellit Alloy Micro Adjust
Saddle: WTB Rocket V Stealth Ti
Handlebar: Easton EA70
Handlebar: Stem FSA XC140
Headset: Cane Creek
Brakes: Hope Mono Mini Disc
Cranks: Shimano Hollowtech II
Hubs: Hope
Front Rim: Mavic X223 Disc
Rear Rim: Mavic X719 Disc
Tyres: Continental Rubber Queen 2.2 (new about 3 rides ago)
Thanks for looking. If you need anymore information or pics just message me or send me a text

Apr 30, 2012Giant NRS 2 , 18.5"
$375 GBPHi, up for sale is my 2004 Giant NRS 2 in medium, bought new in early '04. I'm looking for around £400 for the bike will consider any offers. The bike is in great condition, it has seen very little use over it's life seen as it has just been used as a spare. It's just got a few light scratches/marks that can only be expected from a bike of this age. New brakes were added (Magura Julie's - great brakes with loads of power and good modulation) in early 2010. The bike is really light for a full sus; it climbs like a hardtail but is much better on the rough stuff. Spec is as follows:
Frame: 2004 Giant NRS 2, 3.75" travel
Fork: Manitou Skareb Comp, 80mm travel
Rear Shock: Rock Shox Sid XC, 3.75" travel
Brakes: Magura Julie (new 2010)
Shift Levers: Shimano Deore LX RapidFire SL
Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore LX, top-pull/clamp-on 35.0mm
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT
Crankset: Race Face Prodigy XC, 22/34/44 teeth
Pedals: Shimano PD-M505 SPD
Bottom Bracket: Race Face ISIS SRX, 113mm spindle
BB Shell Width: 68mm English
Cassette: 9-speed, 11 - 34 teeth
Chain: Shimano CN-HG53, 1/2 x 3/32"
Seatpost: Titec X-Wing Pro, 27.2mm diameter
Saddle: WTB Rocket V
Handlebar: Titec Hell Bent XC
Stem: Titec Fast Al
Headset: 1 1/8" threadless FSA integrated
Hubs: Shimano Deore XT disc
Rims: Mavic X223 Disc, 32-hole
Tires Front: 26 x 2.00" Hutchinson Python Air Light
Tires Rear: 26 x 2.00" Hutchinson Python Tubeless
Only reason for sale is it only gets used occasionally and want the money for a hardtail. If there's anything I've missed from the add or you have any questions, message or text me.
Thanks for looking :)

Apr 12, 2012Commençal Meta 5.5.3 Medium

The bike is in good overall condition, it rides well and looks great. It has only been used for XC/all mountain riding and has been well maintained with regular servicing, cleaned and oiled after every ride etc...

Fork: RockShox Revelation 409 Dual Air Motion Control 140mm
Front Derailleur: Shimano SLX
Rear Derailleur: Sram X7
Shifters: Sram Trigger X7 3x9
Chainset: Truvativ Firex Giga X Pipe
Chainrings: 44/32/22 tooth chainrings
Front Brake: Avid Juicy 3 180mm
Rear Brake: Avid Juicy 3 160mm
Brake Levers: Avid Juicy 3

Front Hub: Commencal disc brake
Rear Hub: Shimano M475
Front Tyre: Maxxis Ignitor 2.1
Rear Tyre: Maxxis Ignitor 2.1
Saddle: SDG Bel Air Black and White
Seatpost: Race Face Ride XC
It has had new tyres (Maxxis Igniter's) and news brake pads (Clarks sintered) 2 rides ago.
It does have some light scratching on the frame and a few small paint chips on the underside, but only what can be expected on a mountain bike.
It's a great bike for trial centre/cross country/all mountain riding, only reason for sale is I ride more DH now and could do with the money.
I am prepared to ship at buyer's expense, or may include it in price, depending on offer.
Thanks for looking :)
