Mondraker Prayer 160mm / Enduro / Bike Park

$650 GBP
£650 FIRM. Here is my absolute beast of a machine, the Mondraker Prayer. I bought this bike second hand back in 2014 to get myself back into riding after a long hiatus. I have thrown everything at this bike and it has taken it in its stride (Hamsterley Forest, Rogate Bikepark, Les 2 Alps, Alp D'Huez, Morzine and the Megavalanche to name a few places this bike has chewed up and kept it together for me) It is an old bike, yes, and the only reason I have kept it for so long is because it keeps throwing me surprises, inspires confidence and is always such a fun bike to chuck around. Mondraker was first to jump on the 'Longer, Lower, Slacker' bandwagon and although this bike is old, it still rivals modern bikes in terms of geometry: (Head Angle: 64.5. Reach: 425mm. - wheelbase: 1180mm) I would say around the Small size in terms of modern bike sizing. However, times change, and I want to venture into more trail riding, longer rides, and a bike that is a bit bigger for me. I also want to be able to pass on what I feel has made me fall in love with riding again. This bike would be a great introduction to the Bike Park or Downhill type riding which is what I have mostly used this for. It can climb hills if you want it too and I have done my fair share of up hill slogs and long flats around various trail centres. It CAN do it, but really, this bike shines for the downhills. Now the nitty gritty stuff: Mondraker Prayer Size Medium (17.5 inch) Fork: Rockshox Totem 180mm (serviced June 2020 and running super smooth - a few nicks and scratches to the stanchions here and there but nothing that has hindered the forks performance) Rear Shock: Fox Van R 160mm with Offset bushing (TF Tuned end of 2019 with new bushes seal etc). Front wheel: OnOne (I think Mondrakers own brand of wheel) 26" running 98% true and still the original wheel (20mm Maxle) Rear wheel: Hope Pro 2 EVO with Mavic 719 rim running 97% True (9mm QR with Hub spacers for 142) (both wheels running tubes) Bottom Bracket: Truvativ Howitzer XR (NEW) Tyres: Front Continental Kaiser 2.5 (50% tred) - Rear Maxxis High Roller II DH 2.35 (90% tred) 780mm Handlebars 1 x 10 drivetrain 32 tooth narrow / wide front chain ring (NEW) 10spd Sram chain (NEW) Chain Guide (NEW) 11-36 rear cassette (Good Condition) Shimano Zee Derailer (NEW shimano jockey wheels) Shimano XT Shifter Shimano SLX M7000 front brake (finned pads) Shimano XT M785 rear brake (finned pads) - (both brakes Bled June 2020 and have lots of pad life left) Hope Seat Clamp PEDALS NOT INCLUDED sorry (I will throw in an old pair of very used pedals to get you going if you want them, but they will need replacing) EXTRAS: Hope Pro II EVO hub spacers Firm Spring for Rockshox Totem Shimano Deore XT shifter Indicator Spare 20mm Front Hub spacer 2 x spare rear triangle bearings The not so good nitty gritty stuff and the honest seller in me: All bearings replaced over the years with the last replacement being the end of 2018 and with dry weather riding only. the main Pivot bearing(s) are a little creaky (this has just come on in the last 2 weeks of June), I have taken the shock out and cycled the frame through its travel and everything moves freely and smooth, however those main pivot bearings will need be replaced to get rid of the noise. Frame has been stripped back to a dirty RAW finish (I like it, but its not the same as a polished raw look you normally see). This bike has lots of SCRATCHES CHIPS and MARKS as you would expect from a bike of this age, HOWEVER - there are no dents or cracks. 2 of the main pivot bearing bolts are a little rounded (see pictures), they have been like this for years and still work as they should, just something to be aware of. VanR Shock Spring is very rusty (cosmetic). TF tuned have advised me that this still works as it should. Fork lowers are very scratched and chipped in places but still operate as normal. Fairly worn Nukeproof Nurled grips, could do with replacing. cable rub to handlebars. cable rub to top of fork crown. shims between handlebar and stem. Headset is a few years old now and although operates perfectly, I suspect that this will be on its way out soon, something to be aware of! Any Question please ask! Thanks Jay
