I bet if it didn't look so ugly it woulda sold by now. Intense M1's are absolutely great DH frames, or so I've heard many times before, can't say I speak from experience.

I suppose your keeping all those parts and just putting in a new frame for yourself? I need to do the same, but I want a bike I can freeride on too. I loved the spitfire because I could do lots of things on it, and it was easy to hop up onto picnic tables and that sort of stuff too. I want something better for DH but not something that weights a million pounds and doesn't let me do dirtjumps, and general freeride type stuff. Anyways, just curious, what are you using now, and how does it compare to the Spitfire?

That's not bad I guess. Currently I ride an Oryx Spitfire 99 from 2004. It's more of a freeride frame with 5-6 inches of travel, although setting it at 6 makes it too soft for me, so I keep it at 5. I've got some Boxxers on it, and mostly after market stuff. Nice Freeride/DH setup except for the frame. I'd like to buy a new frame and keep everything else, but I can't afford 2k for that.
This frame I'm sure would be an improvement, but possibly not enough. I live in Newmarket, I think your listing said Aurora. I will look into it more, and let you know. Is the frame currently attached to.. the rest of the bike? I'd like to try it out before buying.

I currently have that bike, except its got some boxxers instead of 888's, but 04 spitfire with mostly after market parts. I want to buy a new frame as well though, something more into DH. But for those looking to buy, $150 isn't bad at all for the frame and rear spring, as long as its all in good condition anyways...
