2011 Trek Fuel EX8 for sale. This bike has been owned from new and has provided countless hours of fun! The 120mm of travel provide it with a light, fun feel ( the last time it was weighed it sat in at around 27lbs w/pedals) however it is more than capable of tackling downhill trails due to the stiff frame which gives it a a very solid, confidence inspiring feel. The bike has also been fitted with offset bushings, making it lower and slacker. The frame is a virtual size of 19.5" - I am around 6' and the bike feels perfect, I imagine it would fit anyone from around 5'10" - 6'1". The only reason the bike is now for sale is due to a lack of funds at uni and a need to downsize the collection. Please note - bike will come complete with chain/gears, this is only missing in the pictures! The bike has had the following upgrades: - Forks: 2012 Rockshox Revelation RCT3 Dual Air - Front Wheel: Hope Pro 2 Evo / Stans Flow Front Wheel - Chainring: Renthal SR4 34t Ultralite - Stem: Easton Haven 55mm - Handlebars: Funn Fatboy 750mm - Brakes: Shimano XT (F&R) - Other small changes such as saddle, tyres, grips. A few tyre options will be given to the buyer. The rest of the spec is as follows: - Cassette: Shimano HG8110 11-36, 10 speed - Cranks: Shimano Deore XT, 42/32/24 - Shifters: Shimano SLX, 10 speed - Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT - Rear Shock: Fox Float RP-2, "trail tuned" w/Trek DRCV, Pro Pedal, rebound - Front Derailleur: Shimano SLX The bike is currently set up 1x10, however all original gears will be provided with the sale. Having been used now for 3 years, the bike has the usual scuffs and scrapes to be expected. There are two small dings on the bottom of the downtube, however these are only aesthetic and do not affect the structural integrity of the frame. Specialized Bighit 2 (M) frame for sale, I believe the year is 2006. Has been a fantastic bike and really got me into downhill! Frame is in perfect condition, no dents or any structural damage, just a few of the usual scratches to be expected on a DH bike. Bearings all feel fine. Shock has recently been replaced so is in as new condition and feels incredible! It is the more recent model of the Fox Van R (with the piggyback). The bike will also come with a Thomson Elite Seatpost and Sunline V1 headset. For anyone looking to build up a full bike, I have a whole wheelset, various tyres, cranks (incl. 2 week old BB) and a few other bits I would be happy to throw in for a very reasonable price. I'll put these up on my Buy/Sell soon but thought I would save them in case anyone wanted them with the bike! 2011 Fox F120 RL forks. 1 1/2" - 1 1/8" Tapered Steerer, 9mm QR dropouts. Adjustable Rebound and Lockout. Very good condition, practically flawless apart from 1 or 2 scratches! Very slight mark on right hand stanchion, however this is only visual and cannot be felt, possibly a slight colour defect from the factory. Steerer is 220mm. Currently functioning perfectly, however they can be given a service before being sent off if the buyer wishes. Price is excluding postage, can be picked up from either Bath or Sheffield. Cheers!
