May 16, 2024Norco Moment
$600 USDHowdy sports fans!
What we have here is an iconic Norco Moment in blue. I have reached a critical mass of bicycles recently and made the difficult decision to part ways with one of my favorites. This bike has been with me since 2007 and the frame is in great shape for the how many hours its been used. There are scuffs and paint chips in the usual places, down tube, chain stay, bb shell and seat stays. It has one ding/hard scrap on the down tube but its cosmetic. The bike is in a rolling state but the fork is blown out and it needs a rear brake bleed. Would love a local to pick it up and avoid shipping if not buyer pays for shipping.
Spec list:
2005 Norco Moment
Marzocchi MX Comp (blown out)
King headset

Aug 27, 2016Echo Pure Street
$500 USDI'm finally parting ways with my 2006 Echo Pure Street trials bike. This bike served me well as a skill builder and would be the perfect bike for entry level through advanced riders that want an overbuilt bike they don't have to worry about breaking. Overbuilt is a bit of an understatement, it's a tank (26lbs.) Counting grams and shaving weight were not considered when upgrading. This bike will help you build a ladder to reach new goals and bake you a red velvet cake of self-confidence with cream cheese frosting called skills.
Pros:
Ready to ride
Front brake is dialed
It's a pogo stick with wheels
Cons:
Some scratches and scuffs as to be expected NO dents or structural damage.
Saddle has small rips on both sides, easily upholstered, I just never found the time. Also have a Felt road saddle I could throw in.
Rear brake feels great but rubs the rim a little
BYOP bring your own pedals
Specs:
2006 Echo Pure Street aluminum frame
Surly Karate Monkey chromoly fork
WTB hub laced to ???? rim
Maxxis Minion DH 2.5 tire
Salsa rasta skewer
Chris King rasta headset
Easton EA 30 stem 75mm
Echo 7075 bar uncut
Avid BB7 front brake
Avid 203 rotor
XTR lever
Magura HS33 rear brake
Square taper BB
FSA 170mm cranks
Brisa 20T front ring
White Industries 18T freewheel (72 points of engagement)
Surly Singulator tensioner
Surly 1x1 hub laced to Alex DX32 rim bolt down axel
Maxxis Minion DH 2.5 tire
Chopped Pro taper seat post
Odyssey mini bmx saddle
Funny story/why it took so long for me to sell this bike
I purchased this bike from its first owner, a local bike shop wrench. Over the course of a year I upgraded several components and was really getting used to how it handled. My house was broken into an the Echo was the shiniest of the bikes or the closest to the door. My dragnet brought up nothing and APD's pawn shop unit was no help. I gave up looking after a few months and moved on, got another Echo (check my seller history for it) and damn near forgot about the Pure Street. 3 years later at the local watering hole my friend asks me about the Echo and I start listing off the specs. He's like yeah, that's sounds exactly like the bike I just bought off my friend for $100. His friend bought the bike 2 years earlier from Craigslist (I should kept searching, gave up to soon) and never really rode it. My friend saw it knew it was mine and after reimbursing him the hundo I got the ol Echo back!
It's hard to say goodbye to a bike I lost and somehow found again but it's time for it to enhance someone else's life. I'm in no hurry to sell this bike and would like to see it go to a good home.

I find myself doing superman seat grabs all the time on the XC single track course behind my local walmart on my 24" rigid fork 1:1 ratio 10 p.s.i. trials bike, that I bought at walmart. I got a custom Loveseat from Azonic that is twice as large and weighs three times as much as the original, I'm willing to trade it for an ultegra 3 speed front derailleur for my 24".

@htbike ?? explain your statement. @maxwell not a seat a stool! Deng loves big XC mountain saddles, I think he got a deal on a bunch of brand new diamondback's that were about to be melted down for scrap and he is harvesting parts off of them. That saddle is great for long distance rides to big lots for mountain dew and a pack of smokes. Also the post can be exchanged for one twice as long for improved pedal efficiency (most people use these for triathlons or time trials). Deng is from China a county bent on holding back the pivotal saddle and seat post technology (although they do make and export everyday).
