Review: Fezzari's 2019 La Sal Peak is a Fun & Modern All-Rounder
I tested the La Sal in Southern Utah this spring and would say Mike’s assessment is spot on. Steep smoother climbs were simple and efficient with the steep seat tube angle, technical, ledgy climbing was nearly magical and descending was interactive and playful, not a point and shoot plow fest. It didn’t feel awkward or long on tighter technical trails or switch backs and I noticed the slightly more upright, shorter cockpit he mentions but wasn’t put off by it. Impressive bike. I liked it. A lot.

First Ride: Revel's Rail Enduro Bike is an Impressive Debut
Kudos for jumping into the fray with a pretty good looking first effort. Not crazy about the criss/crossing cables behind the BB and right in front of the rear tire. Looks like a good place for mud and sticks to catch. So is Chris Canfield just licensing his suspension design or is he a owner/stake holder in the company?

Behind the Bike - Knolly's New Fugitive
Give Noel a call or email him. He's always happy to talk, explain, and generally expound on all the finer points of his bike design. If you're particularly bright and have some engineering background you might even be able to follow. Great guy. Super enthusiastic about his frames. Super smart.

Local Flavors: The Complete Mountain Bike Guide to St. George, Utah - Video
Thanks for the great photo essay. Just one correction: the photo with "Zion" in the background was actually Hurricane Mesa (Flying Monkey mesa) although the snow covered domes in the far background are probably in Zion. Nonetheless, those are beautiful images of my second home. Just got back from there with the Knolly group and had an absolute blast. It was fun showing some of the PNW guys around the desert. Thanks to Quentin for showing us the cool lines on Little Creek Mesa and his OTE shop guys for leading us down Flying Monkey.

Escape to Hurricane – Video
Good eye. I thought I saw some King Kong in there too. JKW always finds the best lines and rides them like nobody's business (I'm sure Quentin from OTE was hooking him up). Love his edits.

Behind Cam McCaul's VW Adventure - Video
I'm selling back my Jetta SW TDI to VW and drove the new Alltrack but wasn't sold completely. Liked the Volvo V60cc and the Audi Allroad better, but after seeing Cam McCaul drives the Alltrack and it's able to drive on roads in Squamish I think I'll buy the Alltrack... ;)
