Niner Debuts the RIP e9 & WFO e9 eMTBs
Sorry VtVolk your wrong. It’s a little confusing with an ebike cos it’s hard to see where the BB actually is in a diag. However..... there is nothing wrong with Niners chart. Even though this is not the tech diagram its accurate. Where they have indicated the BB is, is correct. Just overlay the bike pic on the geo chart if you think im wrong. Where they have drawn a horizontal line from (centre of the head tube) to form the junction with the line from the bb is also correct. The value of whether eff SA is an accurate measurement isnt something particular to Niner but the bike industry as a whole. It would be solved if all brands published measurements of the seat angle @ prescribed heights from the bb, @ say 60cm 70cm 80cm 90cm 100cm @sag rather than just level with the headtube without sag.

Video: Incredible Part Swapping Wheelie Skills with the London Bike Life Kids
Yep agreed.... the only good thing about the London Wheelie movement is that they are on bikes... pretty much everything else is about being an anti social git. Good to see less of that element in this video however. One day they might learn more than one trick, and progress to BMX.

Review: Giro's New Manifest Helmet
Yep - Real shame I thought the Montaro was a great looking lid. But this is awful. Even worse than the Tyrant. Looks matter when you can get the same level of protection, is a more stylish package, for half the price. Whats going on at Giro? Who signed this off?

First Look: Fox's New Transfer Dropper Post - Pond Beaver 2020
No way Fox are getting any more of my money for their shonkey posts. They denied warranty on mine due to "ovalising" by saying id been over tightening, when id adhered to the installation instructions. 7.3 Nm in the max you can tighten it up according to the manual. That's what i do my cranks too! Id been doing mine to 5Nm. Apparently I had to pay £200 for a replacement as i had, according to them, deffo been over tightening it. YA right, id been putting 8Nm+ of torque through my carbon frame to hold my seatpost. Having to service it every year for £90 is a joke too. You can't service it yourself and neither can a shop. That means that the total cost of ownership for this over 3 years is well over £600. Fox: there are just too many good alternatives from companies that dont want to screw you on service these days. Even though im a sucker for the kashima bling someone else will be getting my cash next time.

First Ride: Fox's New 38 Fork - Pond Beaver 2020
Yep - my main issue with my 36 is off the top compliance due to air side friction and a too small neg sping. Even with a Lufkappe its not as good as a lyrik. The 38 doesn’t seem to do anything to remedy that and with the larger diameter seals and tubing it could actually be worse. I deffo don’t need my 36 to be stiffer. For the same weight as a 38 you can get a smashpot 36... probably for a lot less money.
