Carbon Fiber Valve Stems, An Improved Dropper, and 6D's Updated Helmets - Interbike 2017
Your sentiment is honorable but... Are you going to only be buying bamboo bikes? Remember mtbing isnt in any way green, even if you dont use carbon. Alu extraction is very damaging to the environment even if its waste can be reused. Weigh up the whole journey of extraction, production and disposal before flag waving your material choice.

Why Pinkbike is Covering eMTBs This Week
Pinkbikers. Give it 2 years and the same number of journalists as we have now will be split across normal and ebikes and we will be getting 2 normal mtb articles and 18 ebike articles. The same with bikes. The manufactures will be pumping all their time and resources into ebikes and pedal bikes will be forgotten. It's the same way 26ers died. At the time everyone said - you don't have to buy 27 what are you worried about just ignore it but within 1 year nothing new for 26 was being built killling it dead. Be careful about supporting ebikes. The way that the manufactures and mags have gone after it, that is energy and money being taken from development of pedal bikes. Wake up people. This will kill our sport.

Is This Linkage Fork the Future of Suspension? - Crankworx Whistler 2017
AWESOME - with the R3ACT bikes and this its like 1998 all over again - in a good way. GREAT to see companies revisiting this stuff with modern materials and geo. After years of being spoon fed that a 50mm bar is better than a 35mm and 6mm on axle width is a revolution this stuff is refreshing. For all those immediately dismissing it on looks - you are a bunch of tarts.

Must Watch: Brandon Semenuk - Raw 100 V3
I think Sem is a once in a generation kind of rider. Ive never seen and dont think we will see another rider with his level of amplitude and flow. Time will tell as its such a young sport but i think in 50 years time he will be seen as one of the greats. He rides like we all wish we could ride.

Ask Pinkbike: Mismatched Suspension Travel, and Quieting Chainslap
Remember- a 150mm front 140mm rear travel bike is not actually mismatched Rear travel is measured vertically. Front travel is measured in line with the head angle. So 150mm @ 67 degrees is actually 140mm of vertical travel.
