Im Mike Kirk, everyone calls me Kirky. I'm old, unfit, trying to ride like a kid again and love to go upside-down.

Jan 18, 2026Specialized Levo SL
$1850 GBPHi, welcome to this sale for my better half's shed ornament.
2020/21 (I think) Levo SL Expert in the only acceptable colour scheme for this year - Black on Black with accents in... Black.
We bought this Levo SL for my girlfriend to use for the odd ride out and it got used twice - and abandoned in the shed (insert "told you so!").
We are the second owners and it's had a very easy life.
Spec is as follows -
Frameset - Medium, Carbon, SL 1.1 motor
Wheels - Roval Carbon 29ers.
Braking - SRAM G2 RSCs
Shifting - SRAM Eagle GX
Cranking - Praxis
Pedalling - DMR V8s (none of that clipless sh1te)
Front bouncing - Fox 34 Performance
Rear bouncing - Fox Float DPS Performance
Turning - Specialized own Bars/Stem
Seating - Specialized own saddle
Dropper Post - X-Fusion Manic (150mm, I think..)
Good bits -
- Battery is almost brand new, old unit dropped a cell. Was replaced by Berkshire Turbo, at my cost, and has done a massive 1x charge cycle since!
- Motor is low use - on just shy of 90miles
- Groupset has a tonne of life in it
- Fork stanchions and Shock shaft are mint.
- Older SRAM brakes that work! (Good going for G2s)
- Rear hub has been changed from the 100% cheese-built Specialized unit and swapped for a DT Swiss 370. Freehubs on the Spesh units were a known issue.
- Original owners books, charger, case.
- The SWAT tool is in the steerer, as opposed to in the woods somewhere, which is where a lot of them end up!
Bad bits -
- Dropper needs reminding it's a dropper for the first lift (quick tug - wheey!), but then it'll be fine all ride. Did this for the last owner too. Never an issue.
- Few tiny marks here and there but in VERY good condition
- Missing the wee chain guide. You can buy these from Spesh, but it's narrow-wide and has never dropped. Get with the times.
Overall a lovely bike that has a tonne of life left.
Perfect for someone starting their ebike Journey, wanting to follow the kids around (your own kids - don't be weird), or wanting a VERY light ebike. Seriously, the weight of this thing is hilarious - even compared to my Kenevo SL. I think it's like, just over 17kgs, which is roughly - *does maths* - nothing.
Price is or-near-offer.
Collection only.
Bank transfer, PayPal, Cash, but no Crude oil or Precious metals. I don't want to be invaded by the US.
Thanks for looking

KrankE MTB Offers Analog Conversion Kits for Your eMTB
Even just for the sake of travelling - this makes a tonne of sense. Many of us run ebikes as a maintstay, but do a once/twice a year trip to somewhere like Morzine or Whistler for some lift-access goodness. Being able to a) fly with it, and b) get a bit of weight out of it for the sake of chucking it on the lifts and just riding down on something a bit more nimble. It's only a positive.

Man Throws Bike Off Bridge in Whistler Bike Park Altercation
They did the math. Let him burn out and go about his business - or be required to help drag his unconscious body to a place where the ATV would pick him up. Not sure I'd have done so well. Fair play lads.

Pinkbike Poll: Which of These Boutique MTBs Would You Actually Buy?
I wouldn't ride it - but those lines are by far the most pleasing design I've seen for a while. Looks like a big DJ/Slope frame.

Video: A Summer Bike Holiday with Friends in Morzine
It's a convenience thing. You know the place, you know the tracks, you know the travel. That doesn't mean peoples negative opinions of the place can't be justified though man - everywhere has its problems - EVERYWHERE.

So true man.... We love Morzine - but there's a tonne of places, even small resorts, that are great! Italy has several, Verbier is a good laugh, L2A is a fun few days, Les Arcs etc etc etc - and we've even started hitting the much smaller venues like Les Sept Laux and places like that for the waaaay more chilled vibes.
There'd a load of choice!

@carlitouk: Up until this year - I'd have been with you.
I've done 10 weeks in Whistler now over a few trips and err, I don't think it's getting any better? Half the place is closed half the time. The new sections (I'm looking at you start of A-Line) are a bit meh. They don't have enough trail crew to repair AND take care of contest prep so it's blown out to feck in places. It just feels like it's going a bit downhill out there (Wheeyyy - downhill pun!). Don't mistake this for not liking the place or being ungrateful for the efforts these guys make, but it's definitely not feeling much of a league above the Alps that it used to.
All the PDS parks have had good work thrown into them the last few years and more to come. The sheer amount of riding available from Morzine is unparalleled in my eyes - and if you've driven there, you've got tonnes of great parks within 90mins/2hrs. Plus, the food and drink in Europe blows Whistler out of the water (I'm sorry guys... it just does!).
Still, they're both wicked and we're still spoilt to be able to ride them!
