Fox 36 is my preferred XC fork
Also had a lowered 40 on a 26” Chilcotin, best XC fork I ever had.

overall you just have to find the right style to make the bike go fast but i noticed that skipping on the top of rocks is faster than bombing through them on the trek.

and the ABP does work. All it does is cut down on the chatter while braking through a corner which increases your control and speed.

The weight is a HUGE advantage btw. And the full floater makes bottom out feel less harsh

Hey man,
It really depends on how you ride. The sunday accelerated if you bomobed through the rough stuff but would feel the same or slow down if you tried to skip around and "tred lightly" through the rocks. The trek is the opposite. But if you like to plow, it wont slow down it will speed up a little but not like the sunday. However if you tred lightly over rocks and keep the weight off the wheels it accelerates much faster than the sunday. After your first big hit or bottom out on the bike check your linkage bolts mounting the shock to the frame because today i bottomed out real bad and the bolt backed itself off. Not a biggy though.
