Better photographs to follow... This bike is pretty niche (and a bit ugly) but it is fantastic to ride. If you don't know about it, have a read: 'Bafflingly good as an all rounder.' - https://flowmountainbike.com/tests/tested-polygon-xquarone-ex9/ 'We've all heard of hero dirt. This is the hero bike.' - http://theloamwolf.com/2017/05/08/review-polygon-square-one-ex-9/ In the past couple of years I've had a YT Capra, an Evil Insurgent, an Ibis Mojo HD3, a Mondraker Dune XR and Giant Reign Advanced. For me, the Polyon this beats them all - first time I've ever replaced a bike with another one of the same! (I'm going to an XL frame) What's included: 2018 Polygon xquareone EX9 carbon fibre mountain bike frame with 180mm NAILD R3ACT 2PLAY suspension, 148x12 'Boost' axle Fox Factory Float X2 shock, frame specific tune KS LEV dropper post I've got a matching 180mm Rockshox Lyrik for sale separately.

Selling a 2018 Lyrik RCT3 180mm travel fork in excellent condition. 15x110 axle, 182mm steerer. I rode the RCT3 back-to-back with the newer RC2 model (albeit on different bikes) but couldn't discern any major differences, so I saved a few quid and went for the RCT3s - absolutely brilliant forks. Only selling as I've been given a Formula Selva to ride.

This is now the cheapest Dune XR spec on the Internet: £2250 with aluminum wheelset, £2650 with carbon wheelset, £2750 with both wheelsets Medium Mondraker Dune XR Carbon mountain bike frame (142x12 spacing), Fox Float X2 Kashima rear shock paired with Fox 36 Float Kashima forks, E-Thirteen TRS Race carbon wheelset OR aluminium ARC27 with brand new pair of e-Thirteen TRS tyres. SRAM XX1 11-speed groupset with RaceFace Next carbon cranks, SRAM Guide RSC disc brakes, RaceFace Turbine dropper post. This is a fantastic mountain bike for technical and aggressive riding; the rear suspension is phenomenally smooth and the geometry is spot on. This particular bike has been very well looked after. In the time I’ve owned this Dune I’ve bought (and subsequently sold) a YT Capra, Ibis Mojo HD3, Evil Insurgent, Giant Reign 0, Santa Cruz Nomad 3. The Dune has simply been better (and my run times have been faster) than all of the above so has stuck with me throughout. First house deposit forces a very reluctant sale. Despite being a 2016 model, I believe the only change between this bike and the 2019 edition is that at some point they moved to ‘boost’ spacing. The important bits (suspension layout and geometry) are identical. Note that it is quite a big Medium – I usually ride a Large but felt more comfy on the Medium Dune at 5’10”.
