The last three weeks have been really busy for the three Lamas. While young gun Lucas Rey-Sierro spent time training at Bromont, Phil Ricard and Sam Thibault were on a World Cup mission. Here is a recap of their experience.

Unexpected weather characterizes this venue and require riders to adapt quickly to the track's changing condition. Phil Ricard analyzing different line options.

MSA was Phil Ricard's first ever World Cup but certainly not his last.

Unfortunately, a crash early in his qualification run prevented him to be part of the finals. He got 89th.

As for Sam Thibault's quail run, he flatted at the two tiers of the track. Not qualifying when you're in the 50's after two splits is pure bad luck.

Windham World Cup Round 6

Phil and Sam went full privateers for this round. With no tech and manager, they spent their week relying on each other.

With 13 seconds between 1st and 80th, qualifying was hard and sadly Phil missed it by a couple of seconds

Finals came and Sam crossed the finish line under a green light. 58th for the day.

Both Sam and Phil haven't had any downtime after these events. Phil opted to go to Crankworx while Sam is traveling this week to Méribel.
