EVOC is a new and dynamic company to the Action Sports world, and is honoured to have been embraced so openly by many influential people in the MTB industry. It has been an incredible year for us and we couldn’t have experienced such positive movement without the support and faith in EVOC that the local shops and team members have given us. It’s a little humbling when you’re the new kid, yet you always seem to stay close to those that embrace you from the beginning.
Team riders that have become an integral part of our business are:
STEVE PEAT (GB) | FABIEN BAREL (FRA) | SABRINA JONNIER (FRA) | CEDRIC GRACIA (FRA) | BRETT TIPPIE (CDN) | MARIO LENZEN (GER) | THOMAS ÖHLER (AUT) | RYAN BERRECLOTH (CDN) | THE COASTAL CREW (CDN) (KYLE NORBRATEN - DYLAN DUNKERTON -CURTIS ROBINSON) | EVAN SCHWARTZ (CDN) | TEAM CRAFT-ROCKY MOUNTAIN (INT) (PIA SUNDSTEDT - CARSTEN BRESSER - DANIEL GATHOF - GUIDO THALER - FLORIAN KONIETZKO - DENNIS STRATMANN) |DANIEL SCHÄFER (GER) | MAX SCHUMANN (GER) | MICAYLA GATTO (CDN) | DOMINIC AMBERGER (AUT) | TOBIAS WOGGON (GER) | TINO KÄSSNER (GER) | BRENDAN HOWEY (CDN) | BRYSON MARTIN JUNIOR(USA) | MIKE MONTGOMERY (USA)
On this shoot, we worked exclusively with Ryan Berrecloth and the Coastal Crew. It goes without saying that Ryan is a talented professional freerider and integral spokesperson in the mountain bike community.
Our first time out shooting, we had one goal in mind and that was to work on getting some epic light…that’s what we got!
All our riders have been extremely vocal in the progression of our products. Apart for searching for epic light, Ryan and many others have been testing our products and giving feedback on what we can improve to ensure superior functionality.
Evoc has won numerous awards for its innovative products. Our most recent achievement is the Red Dot Award appointed to the Freeride pack with integrated spine protector. Features on the pack include a pocket for a 3L hydration pack, helmet basket for XC or DH helmets, armor fastening straps and 3 torso sizes to ensure the length of your spine is covered.
Our freeride packs have an integrated and removable CE approved spine protector. A simple zip allows for the pack to be removed if a rider chooses to wear the protector on its own.
Other features that make the packs unique are the integrated kidney belts. These have been integral in the overall fit of the bag and how weight transfer during travel is controlled
Curtis Robinson, Kyle Norbraten and Dylan Dunkerton have really put the gear to the test and have helped with the development of our pick up pads. The new generation of pick up pads will incorporate eyelets that allow the bike to be fastened directly to the tailgate to prevent bikes from movement when in transport. The overall padding has been beefed up and we have added aluminum fasteners, which are thinner and more durable than plastic.
Not only are they good at R&D they can build pretty rad playgrounds…
Evoc is continuing to grow and has many exciting projects on the horizon, two of which being Coastal Crews “From the Inside Out” and Anthill Films “Strength in Numbers.” If you want to learn more about our products, riders and company check out our website at evocsports.com
Couldn't agree more! That North Shore run with the cross over jump, I know it's in a movie I have in my collection, but can't remember which! I'm itching to watch it now, so can someone please refresh my memory?!! Cheers!
It's spotlighted recently though. One of the very recent films, like Follow Me, Life Cycles or something like that. I think it's Follow Me! They have the full run from top to bottom...
yes part of the compound is in falow me also in kranked 7 but none of the ones in the photos....for that check out revolve sick sec of all those fetures and all of the costal crew riding them at the same time
Cool shots Landon Stirling! I'm pumped to ride for EVOC! The guys who own and design the bags are all hardcore riders and snowboarders and have really put a lot of thought into the features. They're super tough and look cool too. I was Niteriding on the North Shore last night and my buddy tested out the built in back protector by flipping over the bars into a buncha rocks the size of pumpkins...right onto his back. He was thankful to be wearing an Evoc 20l bag and I was thankful to not have to deal with an emergency and continue the ride instead. Yeah EVOC!!!
Great products. I've seen their lineup at Montreal's Expocycle just yesterday, and must say it definitely breaks out from Camelbak and Dakine, because every nice feature you wish those big brands had is already on EVOC's products (spine protector, kidney straps, and just the overall feel of the bag).
I got mine at Russ Hays, I actually don't have my truck anymore so If you want one, ill sell ya it, but otherwise Russ Hays is the only place i know that even carries Evoc in victoria.
My EVOC backback with the spine protector is probably the only reason i am still walking after i got smashed by a car, now i think of it like a helmet and wont ride without it.
The EVOC bike bag is one of the best mtb related products I have ever used, its sturdy, easy to pack, easy to drag through airports (or wherever!) and makes travelling with a bike a million times easier than using flimsy bags from other brands or cardboard boxes and tape...one minor criticism, the strap that wraps around the head tube needs to be an inch or two longer! I would recommend this bike bag to anyone who regularly travels with a bike, any bike as it will take a DH beast with triple clamps through to a road bike and everything in between. Ok the cost is pretty high but there are now a number of shops in the UK hiring these out for you occasional travelers at pretty reasonable prices.
This article has some amazing shots and highlights some of the great team of riders the brand is supporting.
No it is not the Freeride Tour bag, it is a new photo pack that EVOC will be releasing for 2012. Jacob Gibbins has already tested it, and if you click the picture and look at the description, it says.
they should feel free to send me one for testing. i could do with a new bag as ive killed my lowpro and my tamrac bags. i blame canons L series lenses ive been using their luggage and the freeride pack after i did the pics of steve when they first sponsored him. the stuff is awesome and the added protector is cool. i just cant get a camera in the opening on the top easily. it would be so good for a camera bag as the pack fits so well and wouldnt mover too much while riding.
Definitely THE BEST pack for a zombie apocalypse
wouldn't you?

they wanted to show it at eurobike, but they aren't finished… maybe you can expect them for spring 2012 or something
