Right on Finn! I did the biggest drops in the OG freeride movie KRANKED 1 on a Gary Fisher Joshua Y with a URT back end. 15 foot drops on that thing was crazy, but didn’t know any better at the time!! Ha ha

@thekaiser: I9 aluminum spokes and Hydra 2 hubs with We Are One built rims. Silver spokes to match the frame but my new black colored Current will have red spokes and hubs for a Darth Vader kinda look!

I am very grateful for the kind words in the Andrew Major article “You should hire Brett Tippie” and for Pinkbike who published it. The timing could not have been better. I test rode a lot of potential bikes last fall after being suddenly left without a bike sponsor mid season and the Aventon Current was top of the list for me because of its handling and unbelievable smooth power and range. They have over 1800 dealers in North America and are expanding to Europe. I’m eager to work hard and support my family while having some fun adventures promoting this awesome new bike. Big things up their sleeve too. Let’s go!
