Here we have my Kona Scrap (or shred, not entirely sure if I'm honest) project bike. I bough the frame with a job lot of parts, and decided to build up a bike to just mess about on using my existing parts. I started buying a few new bits to go on it, but as with everything, time/money/effort ran out and now its time to sell. It's a medium frame, old school tough Kona Hardtail frame, which was sanded down by the previous owner. It has no cracks or dents, it's a decent frame it just looks rough. The wheels are Mavic 117 disc rims with Shimano Centrelock Discs, with a DMR moto digger rear and specialized rhythm lite front tyre. The headset it brand new, fitted just before I stopped riding it, and was a £50 part when I got it, NC 17 S Pro. It has a single speed conversion kit from OnOne on the rear which works brilliantly, Wellgo Magnesium pedals, a brand new seat post and clamp, On One bars and a Truvativ Hussefelt Stem. The brake is an Avid BB-7 with an Avid lever, and brand new pads (works almost too well, puts a lot of hydraulic brakes to shame) The forks are a set of Marzocchi somethings... I think they're a set of bombers, but I'm not sure. They work fine, a little bouncy but a service would cure this I imagine, and they suited the type of riding I used it for so I never bothered. A few points to note, the BB is not great, it needs replacing but it does work, just creaks a lot. The cranks are just a set of FSA Dynasis(?) and the chainring is a middle ring off a shimano triple crankset, and its missing a chainring bolt. It isn't pretty, but it is good fun when its all working and would be a fun little DJ/MTB project for someone. I'm open to offers, I need it gone. Up for sale here is my 2006 Specialized S works Large frame Enduro, built from the ground up by myself, to be the ultimate do it all bike! Just before I got it, the frame had a new full set of bearings put in, and has only been ridden a handful of times since, so there is no play or movement and everything is true, no dents or cracks. The rest of the spec is as follows: -Hope Pro 2 hubs laced to Stans Flow EX rims (true and no play) -Specialized Butcher control and Purgatory tyres (as good as new) -Fox DHX 5.0 shock (Ex MBUK test shock, and also an ex Fox prototype) -Suntour Durolux 160mm air sprung forks (dont be put off by the name, these perform better than any Fox forks I've used!) Adjustable high and low speed compression and rebound control, can be set to more travel with internal spacers too (only 2 rides old!) -Shimano Zee cranks, not even any heel rub yet! -Raceface 32t narrow wide chainring -KMC 10 speed gold chain -Sram pg1071 11-36t cassette -Sram X9 shifter and X0 rear mech -Shimano Saint M810 brakes with new pads, recently bled -Aztec 180mm floating rotors -Banshee seatpost and benelli Saddle (not in pic) -FSA Orbit XL headset -Nukeproof Warhead 50mm stem and 760mm bars -Specialized Grips -No pedals included -Few spares such as seatpost and chainguide amongst other things included! Fully serviced after every ride by myself (I work in a bike shop), never abused, this really is a do it all machine!
