Update -- I ended up getting a sweet deal on a Trans Double from my LBS in the raw finish!! Built it up in August and have been riding the heck out of it. Absolutely LOVE it. Need to upload some pictures still.

Old cut tube is always the most inexpensive chainstay wrap, but also the most effective in reducing chatter! I built a double same color in August and did the same. I havent loaded any pictures yet but also chose green components to go with the raw frame! Nice looking bike

Thanks for the advice! I have looked at the Double and also the Mongoose Nugget or NS Soda Slope bikes as well

I am thinking about getting a 4x bike like this for play on the trails. Mostly slopestyle riding some mild xc to get to the fun DH spots and of course the occasional Dj riding. What are your thoughts for using this bike as a all round play bike??

Do you ever use this bike for any kind of trails... slopestyle, light technical DH, ect... Bike looks awesome!

Freeride hardtail converted to XC bike! Just look for your next cross country event and your still good....
