Nov 12, 2024Townsend Hedgehopper
$30 GBPDo you want a bicycle that works? Something that gets you from A to B? Something that is definitely a bicycle?
Then boy do I have the bicycle for you.
This I believe is a Townsend Hedgehopper. I have just got it running nice, which has included a bottom bracket rebuild, and a general tune. With the saddle all the way down its not a particularly large bike, but with it up I (6’4) could still quite easily ride it without it feeling small. Probably good for anyone 5’6+.
It’s not a flashy bike, but then why would you want one if you’re just riding to work or school? It’s a bit scuffed up so I doubt anyone would want to nick it, perfect for leaving it locked up in public for the day.
Going: The tires have plenty of tread, and the gears are simple and work faultlessly. It’s got a full Shimano drivetrain that works well, and the tires are Kenda.
Stopping: The brakes work well, the pads have got plenty of depth in them. A bit noisy under heavy braking but does function well instead of a bell.
Comfort: The foam grips are comfy, and the saddle is not an uncomfortable shape.
Overall, a solid bike, at an absolute steal of a price. £30. Any questions about this beast feel free to message.

I'm guessing that its a size medium, it would likely fit anyone 5'8 and up.
Whilst this bike may look scruffy, I have just spent lots of time getting this bike into a good working order, and everything now runs as it should, and is ready to ride. Work carried out includes: Replacement brake cables, tuned brakes, replacement rear tyre, replacement inner tubes, new chain, and gears indexed correctly. Where able I have stripped the bike, regreased and reassembled.
Parts include:
KS 258 rear shock
Shimano drivetrain.
Collection from Northampton. Any questions feel free to ask.

Not sure what the size is but would probably fit anyone 5'8 and up. 26" wheel.
I've given this bike a rebuild and has had many replacement parts. These include a replacement front brake, replacement inner tubes, and a new chain. Other than that everything has been adjusted and fine tuned and is now running perfectly. It is very quiet now, shifts perfectly and brakes well too, bearings are all smooth - everything is in perfect working order.
Parts include:
RST 281 forks.
Shimano brakes and drivetrain
Shock Works coil shock

$110 GBPApollo tdf-100 road bike - Needs for nothing!!!
I've just given the bike a load of new bits including tyres, Shimano bottom bracket and brake pads, so it's ready to ride. Shifts perfectly, I've also rewrapped the bars and trued the wheels.
Not exactly sure what the size is but I would say it would fit anyone 6’ and up.
Shimano groupset including tiagra derailleur.
Looks to be from 2004 or 2005.
Collection from Northampton, I can travel within the town and to nearby towns if it's easier.
Was £125, Now £110. Would also be willing to swap for a hardtail mountain bike.
Any questions feel free to ask.

Jan 31, 2024New Burgtec Seatpost Clamp 36.4mm for 31.6mm seatposts
$10 GBPRed Burgtec seatpost clamp.
This item is new and still in the original packaging. I bought this from Brink a few weeks ago (I have the receipt) but it turned out to be the wrong size for my bike. I tried to fit it on my bike but was too big, and it has been in the packaging since.
The clamp is to fit 36.4mm external diameter (the outside of the seat tube). Burgtec says this fits most 31.6mm seatposts, but double check because it did not fit mine, turns out I have a 35mm external diameter
Price is firm, I paid £22 for this and it has not been used so I will be loosing money on it, but it's easier than returning it as Brink is an hour from me.
Collection from Northampton or Bristol. I can post at buyers expense.
