1990 Classic Mini Cabriolet £4500 This is my classic mini cabriolet. I have owned this car for nearly 2 years and in that time it has never let me down. The spec is as follows: . 998cc engine. A recon SU carb has just been added and the engine has just been tuned on a rolling road. It is now producing 50.2 hp and around 60 torques. Cabriolet conversion. This was done by the previous owner a number of years ago by Keith’s Conversions. It has a roll bar and strengthened sills and has passed all of the relevant safety tests. It is also down on the log book as being a soft top. The roof itself is vinyl (black) and has been treated every couple of months to keep it fresh. The roof itself looks brilliant and shows the car off well when it’s both up and down. . 4x 12 inch mini-light alloys. All of these wheels in great condition with no kerbing or scuffing what so ever. .Clear rear light lenses with led brake light bulbs. . Twin exit exhaust (stainless steel) This sounds great and is a new edition to the car. The car has been well looked after by all of its 3 owners. The previous owner kept the mini in a heated shed with a cover over it and only took it out on warm sunny days. Any work that has needed doing has been done. Serviced regularly at a local garage. The car has covered very few miles over its life. Only a tiny 36,000 miles. This is very little millage for a car of this age (1990 on a ‘H’ plate). I have used the mini as my everyday car for the past few months since I have passed my test running up to my college and back and it has been perfect. I am training to be a mechanic so it has been regularly checked and inspected. The mini has be loved and cared for and I will be very sad to see it go.
