Bilt Bikes: Sian Ahern - Video
Starting out racing motocross in late 2012, Sian wasn't competing in any sport until just over two years ago. One day her brother, Kye told her to have a go on his downhill bike. From the moment Sian stepped into downhill territory, she was in love. Beginning her racing career in early 2015, the Thredbo Nationals were her first race, placing 2nd in the U19 Women. Three months later a knee injury caused a major setback, requiring surgery and four months off the bike.

 | In the past year I've achieved a lot and I hope to make 2016 bigger and better. I plan to consistently improve on my skills and results. I will attend my first World Cup in Cairns and possibly another round - my aim for this year is to be picked for the World's team as it is my last year in the junior category. To experience racing World Champs before stepping up into the elite's would be unreal and I can't wait to put in the effort to do my best! I would love to make a career out of downhill and racing the World Cups in the elite field. Joining a Factory Team would be awesome too, but my ultimate goal is to be on top of that podium.
