Trek 4500 Alpha w/ Upgrades & Lifetime Warranty

$400 USD
For sale is a 2003 Trek 4500. I've owned the bike since brand new and its treated me extremely well. Purchased at Zanes Cycles in Branford CT, which offers a lifetime warranty and tuneups, which I've used. Its good for the life of the bike, just don't remove the Zanes sticker on the frame! USA Built bike. Specs: -TIG Welded Alpha Aluminum Frame -RockShox Judy TT Fork (adjustable, and has disc brake mount for possible upgrade) -Matrix 750 Wheels w/ Quick Release hubs, Schrader Valves -Promax V-Brakes -Rapid Fire shifters -24-speed, Shimano Components -Bontrager Crank -Bontrager Crowbar Sport Bars Upgrades: -Kona JackShit MTB Platform Pedals (wont shatter like plastic, or bend on rocks like the original pedals, provide much better grip) -Stem: Sette Edge Forged 25.4mm Handlebar Stem (more agressive riding position than the original, will include original) -Will include kickstand and one water bottle cage (has mounting holes for two) Basically brand new parts (0-10 rides): -26"x2.2" Continental Mountain King -Panaracer SuperTubes, Double Thick -New rear brake pads -Replaced some brake and derailleur cables -New Specialized Grips -Sette Amp Saddle (lighter and more agressive than the original, but its a matter of preference. I find it much better for long rides. Original seat included) -Just had a tune-up -For the right price, will include a brand new, never mounted, rear disc brake adapter for this frame. (Genuine Trek part, out of production and getting hard to find.) 19.5" frame I believe, fits me at 5'9", seems to work for riders 5'7"-6'1". (The geometry of these older Treks are different than the current bikes, for comparison my new 29er is a 17.5") The bike needs nothing to get on it and ride. A few of the studs on the pedals have come out, but they can be replaced for cheap if it bothers you. Not desperate to sell so only looking for reasonable offers. I'd love to keep it but I'd also like to fund some upgrades to my 29er. Due to the size, not looking to ship.
