Ancillotti - excellent old skool race rig

$1000 GBP
2002 Ancillotti Scarab DH 1999 Boxxer 151 with Goldtec 7in upgrade and integrated crown/stem Hope Bulbs on Mavic D321CD rims shod in Michelin Comp 16 rubber Hope DH4 brakes on Mini levers RaceFace Turbine cranks with Goldtec Chainring XT shifter, Ultegra mech and cassette Easton bars and RaceFace post This is a fantastic bike and it pains me to have to sell it. It has proved competitive in national and local Dh series and even served me well at last years Mega Avalanche, embarrasing a lot of modern machinery along the way. It a few in yearsold now, but whilst most daren't touch a modern race bike after 2 seasons use, these Italian beasties continue t ear their bulletproof reputation. All the components have been chosen for performance and reliability, whilst still building into a 9in travel race bike weighing in at just 40lbs! Slightly shorter and steeper geometry than most modern barges which has proved very good on the Uk tracks. On bigger courses the long travel allows you to hang off the back and plough through the rough stuff with ease. It's in fantastic condition for the vintage, lovingly maintained by the previous owner and myself with help from Ancilloti UK to whom the bike is known. I am only selling due to having amassed a large collection of bikes which is being downsized to the few I use the most. I have another Ancillotti which is staying in the fold :-) I honestly think this will outperform and certainly outlast anything comparably priced, and certainly looks a lot better whilst doing it (it is Italian afterall) I'm happy to answer any questions or queries you may have Smithy

The stantions are pretty rough so I couldn't comment on how long new seals would last or whether they would actually seal or not. Would be ideal for someone with broken lowers or blown internals. Smithy
