Yes! You are definitely not dreaming. The team over at Downhill Memes has been working long and hard to create such a master piece.

-"For years, we have been mocking the 29er wheel size and have glorified the 26" downhill bike. It has all been a cover story to hide what we think will revolutionize the best of both worlds." Downhill Memes said.

We headed over to Downhill Memes' offices to finally check out what all the fuss was about, and frankly, we we're quite amazed.

At first, we did not believe a single word they said when they stated that they are about to start production on a 29er downhill frame. We even had a good laugh about it, so they invited us over to prove it. They did not disappoint!

-"We are quite proud of what we have accomplished. We wanted to be more than an entertainment source, to accomplish a bigger goal. And it was to create our own bike. Years of studying, researching and doing favors, we can finally say that we have succeeded."

We have acquired ourselves a few frames and will be testing these to the fullest. Stay tuned for a bikecheck/review coming soon.

BikeRadars test results were that 29er were fastest uphill and 26ers were fastest downhill. May differ per terrain though. In the end, a faster rolling wheel doesn't mean you will actually ride faster over the trail, especially when it limits manoeuvrability and thereby limits your line choices.
