How many speeds is the hub? I am guessing 9 is standard....and Is the Derailleur a vertical drop out or horizontal?

And for your Red Camera 3D project...do you have contacts that rent that model out? Cause I've done some work shops with it...and know some people in camera departments and rental houses if you need some hook ups...as well where are you getting the head from? the side by side slightly off set camera head? Cause I hear those are pretty particular to set up...but a wicked cool idea. Especially for MTB. Crazy slow mo effects can't wait to see some of it on the hill.

How tall are you? And how does the balance and the feel of the Medium feel on you in hairpins and in the air? As well as the straigts is it stable?
