Kinesis Crosslight 5T Disc. 54cm. Cx/ Gravel.

$375 GBP
Kinesis Crosslite 5T Disc Bike. 54cm. Cx, Commute, Gravel, Bike Packing. Metalic burnt Orange colour. Kinesis Crosslite 5T alloy frame https://www.kinesisbikes.co.uk/Catalogue/Models/Archive/5T-DISC 54cm (I'm 5'10" It's a comfortable fit) Kinesis Crosslite carbon forks Kinesis Crosslite Cx disc wheels (nice, quality, light, cartridge bearing hubs). Quick release hubs. Vittoria armoured commuter tyres and tubes. Hayes Cx mechanical disc brakes, nice and sharp. Deda carbon seatpost, Maddison FLUX 142 mm Saddle ( or brown Charge Spoon) Deda bar tape. FSA 440mm wide bars. Cube stem 2x10 shimano Drivetrain. Mix of 175mm Grx 30/46 crankset, 105 shifters and derailleurs. 11-34 cassette. Shimano Deore SPD Pedals Hope seat q/r Silver bottle cage Also included: Spare brake pads Zefal full length plastic mudguards Shimano Tiagra 50/34 crankset which works better with the drivetrain but is a bit harder on steep hills. Spare set of narrower lifeline armoured commuter tyres and tubes. A Surly Knard CX tyre that might fit on the front. Spare front disc wheel. Formula hub. Maybe useful for winter use. Not included but shown, black bottle cage and garmin mount. Forgot to remove. Bike mainly used for short commutes with the odd longer on/off road ride and bit of bike packing. Being a cx bike it's fine over lumps and bumps but with the commuter tyres good on the road too. It's fairly light and with tubeless tyres could be even lighter. It's a good all rounder. Just fitted new bar tape, gear and brake cables, gear shifter, shimano bottom bracket, Shimano Grx crankset, giving a nice low gear range. The 175 Grx crankset is good for steep hills. The Tiagra cranks are slightly shorter at 172.5 and better for flatter stuff. There's a bit of toe/front tyre overlap but I do ride with mtb shoes that have the cleats far back. Wheels are true, front wheel hub could do with new bearings but spins fine. Some bits of clear protective tape on frame but a few rubs and paint chips, mainly from frame bags. Good used condition anyway. Cash on Collection from Holmfirth, West Yorkshire please. No PayPal. Would consider posting but would rather buyer collects.

First Look: MDE Stray is an Italian-Made All-Mountain Machine
@optimumnotmaximum: Mine was a 2016 Damper. Maybe they made them heavier back then? Coming from an old Kona Process 153 it was noticibly heavier with the same components. Going downhill was fun, which is what enduro bikes are for. It made me appreciate that I need more of an all round trail bike to get me to the good downhill trails without being too exhausted. I ride a Knolly Endorphin with 160mm Lyriks which seems a good compromise.

First Look: MDE Stray is an Italian-Made All-Mountain Machine
@nwphotography: I briefly had a damper 27.5. I'd agree with all that you say. Bike really came to life in fast rocky stuff. Sizing and geometry really spot on. Solid engineering. I sold mine because disappointingly the frame weighed a lot lot more than claimed. Trying to do a lot of uphill climbing and hike a bike with this thing nearly broke me. I wonder if all mde bikes really weigh a lot more than claimed? I guess it would be more at home in alpine terrain where you have uplift. I live in the UK so different terrain. The Stray might be more suitable for here but I'd like to know the real frame weight.

Kona Process 153 Custom bike

$1550 GBP
Decided to sell my trusty Kona Process. I built it from a frame and kitted it out with my choice of decent but reliable components. Bike has just had a full strip down/rebuild with a lot of new parts. Most of the bearings are new- frame pivots, headset, bottom bracket and rear hub. Suspension given a refresh, brakes bled etc... I've ridden it maybe 3 times since just to make sure it's all ok. It's got plenty of cosmetic scratches as it's been well used and the odd small ding here and there but it's running sweet. Worth mentioning-Brakes are different models but work the same, use same pads. Forks have a few small scratches on one stanchion, not been a problem and holds air fine, adjusters all work fine. Rear shock piggy back loses some air over time so needs pumping up now and then. A common thing with this shock I've heard. Wheels are bit scratched but true, drivetrain working fine. Can include shock case and extra volume adjuster, spare o rings (have quite a lot already on air can so it pedals well). Spare rear mech hanger. tubeless valves, extra volume token for Pike. Have kept this bike much longer than previous ones as I love it and just couldn't find anything better for a reasonable price. It's great for Enduro or big mountain adventures. Weighs about 33LBS but doesn't ride heavy. Geometry was way ahead of it's time- 460mm reach, low slung, short back end. It's really easy to move around on steep technical terrain and long enough to give good stability at speed. It's not bad at climbing either. At 5 foot 10 I have the seat as far forward as I can as it's pretty steep where I live and I'm at the bottom end of the rider height range. Colour looks quite bright in real life. My photos are a bit washed out. Not exactly stealth, more high vis. I think it looks funky anyway! Open to reasonable offers. cash on collection or bank transfer before collection. I'm near Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Geometry here: https://geometrygeeks.bike/bike/kona-process-153-2016/ Slacker head angle 65* and slightly steeper seat tube due to works headset. Feels great at 5 foot 10. Spec list here: Frame- Size Large 2015 with stronger stainless steel frame pivot bolts on rear. New pivot bearings fitted. Protective taped and Carbon Downtube protector fitted. Mechanically sound. No cracks. Shock DVO Topaz T3- 3 compression settings, tonnes of adjustment. Buttery smooth with plenty support. MDE Updates Italian-Made Aluminium Carve & Damper Frames
I had a Damper frame briefly. Super capable downhill and very well made but weighed a fair bit more than expected. Ended up selling it on flea bay for peanuts.

First Ride: 2021 Commencal Meta TR - Is Mini-Enduro a Thing?
@roma258: I'll second that. Either too long seat tube or too short top tube/reach.
