Apr 5, 2025Kona Sutra SE
$1400 CADThis is a Kona Sutra SE in size 54cm—an excellent bike for touring, commuting, or everyday riding. It comes with the stock setup: a chromoly steel frame, Shimano Alivio/Deore 3x9 drivetrain, and bar-end shifters. Braking is handled by TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes with Hayes calipers. The bike is currently running Schwalbe Marathon Mondial 700x40c tires with plenty of life left, and I’m including an extra spare Schwalbe tire as well.
It comes with the original fenders, rear rack, and a Brooks B17 leather saddle that’s still in great shape—no cracks or damage. The steel fork has triple mount eyelets if you want to add more gear or bottles, and both front and rear wheels have thru-axles for added stability.
There are some minor scuff marks on the shifters and brake levers—purely cosmetic and everything works smoothly. I bought the bike lightly used about two years ago and have only ridden it around town a few times, but I have other bikes that I end up reaching for more often. It recently had a tune-up at Rose Pedal Repair, so it’s clean, well-maintained, and ready to ride.
It’s a comfortable and capable bike, especially if you’re into long rides, bike camping, or just want something solid and reliable.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want to come check it out.

Recent work includes full air-spring and damper service on fork, full Reverb service (replaced seals and bled remote), new rear rim/wheel build, new tires, new chain, brakes bled and wheels taped for tubeless. Front wheel is set up tubeless, but rear needs a new tire.
