Freakynuts Launches Shimano Brake Lever Upgrade
Thanks, appreciate it! Good point on the geometry that’s exactly where these levers make the difference. They’re not just a copy of the stock Shimano levers; the shape and pivot are slightly refined to give a more direct, controlled feel, especially in the initial bite. The overall dimensions stay close to stock, so it still feels familiar, just more precise. You can comfortably run them with one or two fingers depending on your setup and preference. One thing we personally always disliked about stock Shimano levers (And yes we like the Bite) is that at the end of the stroke the edges can feel quite sharp almost like a bit of a guillotine on your fingers. :) That’s something we specifically addressed, so the feel stays smooth and comfortable throughout the whole pull. We’ve been getting really great feedback from experienced riders, which honestly makes us super happy — that’s exactly what we built them for. And yeah, Canada is no issue 👍 Shipping there is straightforward. The US has become a bit more complicated since the de minimis changes, but we’re currently working on sending a batch to the Colorado Hub so US riders can soon get them without the extra hassle or cost. Stay on your Pedals!

Freakynuts Launches Shimano Brake Lever Upgrade
Totally fair comment Sir... and honestly, we’re not happy about high shipping costs either. Shipping to the US has become a lot more complex and expensive compared to other international countries over the past year due to changing import regulations. That’s not something we control, but it is something we take seriously. That’s why we set up a US distribution hub in Colorado at the end from last season. 👉 For US customers, the better option is our USA shop: -Shipping included -No duties or surprise fees -No customs delays or hassle In other words we’ve taken that stress on our side so you don’t have to deal with it. We’re a small team, not a big corporate, and we’re continuously working to improve things next step is keeping stock balanced across both continents. Appreciate you calling it out.
