And yes, theoretical stiffness calculations, material comparisons, bending forces, etc. are all great fun on the workbench.
In the real world, however, we've been selling and riding the 7075-T6 version for several years now, worldwide — including under proper race conditions on World Cup tracks. Not a single case of wear.
So we're not really interested in turning this into another theoretical engineering debate. Extreme real-world riding conditions have already proven that the concept can be ridden safely.
The titanium version simply takes the concept in a different direction.
