DVO Releases Onyx 38 SL Fork With New D1 Prime Damper - Taipei Cycle Show 2026
Been on DVO forks exclusively since 2016, and the shocks since about 2017. They have been the BEST to deal with. The tuning can be a little unique compared to other brands, but the stuff has been bulletproof and is a cakewalk to service myself in the garage, and they've always had my back if I had an issue or needed something in an emergency. Keep it up guys!

Review: The New Transition Spur is Lightly Revised and Still Just as Fun
I have the new Ratchet DEG hubs, and they sadly fall short on the durability side. I'm on my 3rd set of ratchets in under a year. 1 set was my fault, but the other two were not. 72T is the lowest engagement you can run on the DEG hubs now.

@sp33dwagon: Apologies, I should have made my comment more clear. I was referring to at the manufacturer level, NOT at the shop level. I worked at shops for decades, and know who bad they get crushed by margins.

I just finally upgraded from my full 27.5 bike in December of 2025, and I'm 6'3" and built like a football player, so other than the bike fitting me better because geometry. I can't help but feel like the 29ers are just doing the same thing as the 27.5 bikes, but just at higher speed.

There's also profit margins. Generally, higher end bikes have higher margins, therefore look better on the balance sheet. The entire bike industry has moved in this direction for a long while, think about how expensive entry level Trek, Specialized, Electra bikes are... now compare that to the Wal-Mart/Big Box store bike? So logically, they'll keep pushing to top higher, instead of keeping the price of entry low.

Pinkbike Poll: How Are You Actually Watching World Cup Racing These Days?
Honestly, I only can watch because I got a good deal on my HBO Max package through my cable company, and we watch enough other content on that to make it worth it. I think the actual broadcast package is fine, but if you're going to charge what they charge for it, it's should be BETTER. The overall broadcast is just so milquetoast, I know the people care, but the content, and delays, you just would hope for better for a legit media conglomerate.
We all miss Rob and Eliot and watching any of the Red Bull broadcasts with them, and even my wife who just got into mountain biking in the last few years said to me the other day "man the races were so much better with Rob" unprovoked.
