Been biking since 2009. Competed / raced for a few years. Still race every now and then, but it’s all for fun!

Cannondale CAAD4 R500

$300 USD
2004 Cannondale CAAD4 R500 Road bike. 63cm - suitable for riders 6'2" and up. I am 6'2" and the bike works great for me. The bike has a 3x9 drivetrain with Tiagra components. Smooth shifting, no clicking or jumping gears. The chain, tires, tubes and brakes were replaced last year (less than 300 miles ago). Tune-up completed earlier this summer (2022) at Spokes / Trek Bike Shop in Leesburg. I have ridden it for 882 miles, never raced, and it has always been stored inside. Includes mounted Cateye computer (working properly). I am the second owner of this bike. My buddy gave it to me four years ago when he upgraded, and now I'm selling it to upgrade / change my riding style to a more gravel-oriented focus to ride with my wife. There is nothing wrong with the bike, other than minor cosmetic scratches. The scratches are on top of the brakes / shifters from me turning the bike upside down to work on it, the quick detach lever for the rear axel, and a small spot on the frame next to the smallest chain ring when the chain popped off (all pictured). Not included: Water bottle cages, pedals, pump mount. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Giant XTC-1 **PRICE DROP**

$325 USD
I am selling my LARGE 2008 Giant XTC1. I am the second owner and have owned the bike since fall of 2011. When I purchased the bike it was nearly all factory except the seat and I have since changed that as well as other aspects of the bike. I've raced a few Cranky Monkey's with this bike but never had any major crashes or frame damage. The only 'damage' you'll see is cable rub and standard scratching from a fair amount of time spent on the bike. I don't ride anywhere crazy, just local stuff around VA. Difficult Run, Wakefield, Freedom Center, Rock Creek Park (western MD), W&OD trail are where I usually ride. Fountainhead is to much for me. Hopefully this gives you an idea of how much I have 'abused' the bike and that it isn't destroyed. I had a knee injury last fall and since then I decided to get a full suspension to help keep them fluid. I've ridden trails only twice this year. I bought the Kenda road tires to ride on the W&OD to help get cardio back, I'll throw those in too. **You'll notice in the pics that the brake lines are hanging loose and the tires are backwards. I fixed that once I noticed it on the pics. I just bled the lines last week and changed tires real fast for picture purposes. Problem solved.** Here is the link to Bikepedia.com for my specific bike. . . http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?year=2008&brand=Giant&model=XtC+1 Some parts are still factory (brake set, shift levers, bottom bracket, seat post and handlebar/stem) but I had all the other components changed. *The brake SET is still factory, however I have bled the lines and replaced the pads on both brakes. I'll throw in my extra set of pads as well. All parts were installed by a mechanic and not me just guessing what goes where. I know a bit but I'm not competent enough to attempt it on my own. All the upgrades/parts I replaced were put on after two years of owning the bike. I still have the receipt too. Brake set: Hayes Stroker Ryde w/160mm rotor brakes, Hayes Stroker Ryde levers Shift Levers: SRAM X5 trigger Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore Rear Derailleur: SRAM X7 Crankset: SRAM S600 3.0 Crank Pedals: Shimano M324 SPD Bottom Bracket: TruVativ Powerspline Rear Cassette: 9spd SRAM PG950 Chain: SRAM PC 971 (replaced twice) Seat: Respiro Athletic Bike Saddle Seat post: Alloy, 30.9mm diameter Handlebar: 6061 AL riser Handlebar Stem: Alloy Headset1 1/8" Tires: - Michelin Mud Country 26x2.0 - Kenda KWEST 26x1.50 road tires I've put about $350 in to this bike to keep it up to speed so please, NO lowball offers. Bikepedia says the bike was $850 brand new. Ridiculous questions will be answered with ridiculous / sarcastic / insulting answers. :) With that in mind, feel free to ask me questions about the bike, assuming they don't' apply to the previous sentence.
