Oct 11, 2018Giant Glory 2 27.5
$1,900 USDUp for sale is a very nice 2016 Giant Glory with 27.5" wheels. It is a medium frame and is sized for riders from 5'7" to 6'. That sounds like a broad spectrum, because I believe they only made this bike in SM, Med, and Lrg. Having only 3 sizes makes them fairly universal. I happen to be 6' 250lbs and feel just fine on it.
Having said that, I did a few upgrades to the bike that eeally helped if feel good for a larger rider. It has an upgraded heavy front and rear spring suited for larger riders. The factory spring is the yellow spring which was very mushy and easily bottomed out. I upgraded to the black rockshox spring and the heavy duty 550 or 600lb rear spring i dont remember which exactly.
***Bike will also come with factory springs. And they are incredibly easy to swap in and out.****
Also, Upgraded the Brakes- it comes with single pot DB5 brakes- upgraded those to dual pot sram Guides that I sent back to the factory to get the main lever cylinder swapped out so you shouldnt have any of the common cylinder issues these brakes had originally.
Attached are pics of factory specs on everything else.
Upgrades:
Deity riser bars
Atlas pedals
Oury lock on grips
Wtb Pure V saddle (i have the original too)
Sram Guide quad piston brakes
Front Rockshox heavy black spring
Rear Rockshox heavy spring
Continental Kaiser 2.4 tires (*one ride)
Any questions, feel free to ask! Looking for around $1900 or so, Im mildly negotiable.
Thanks!
