$600 CAD2012 Norco Shinobi 3 29er - large frame
$600 OBO
**fork is in rough shape and cannot be serviced** (see note below)
rear shock should probably be serviced but works fine
needs a tune up and check over by bike technician
tires are worn but still have some life left
tubes will hold air but should probably be replaced
(chain check, hubs check, bottom bracket check, suspension pivot points check, brake pads check, and brake bleed)
bike has not been ridden in years hence the requirement for a tune up
solid frame, drive train, pedals, brakes, and a comfy seat
bike is in great shape other than the fork issue
I found the geometry of this bike to be AMAZING
I'm 5'10 and 180lbs for reference
*fork cannot be serviced
suspension requires regular maintenance typically called "servicing the suspension"
this entails replacing the seals and oil in the suspension and checking the various internal components for wear and tear
as far as I am aware, the fork manufacturer, Marzocchi, no longer exists at it once did
as such, you can no longer find the parts kit required to perform this servicing
therefore, the fork cannot be serviced
the fork is currently in rough shape and since it cannot be serviced the fork is questionably safe to ride
will the fork break while you are riding it? probably not...
does the fork work as it should? definitely not...
personally, I would not ride this bike hard because I like having my collarbone, wrists, and teeth intact
