I love the outdoors. My family, two boys, 18 and 7, 1 girl, 4 years old, and my wife, and I, love everything outdoors. We fish, we bike, we hike, and love the beach. Everyone rides bikes. I've always believed that riding bikes saved my life. I grew up in the hood. All of my childhood friends became cholos, drug addicts and most are in jail. My dad always had a good bicycle for me and would take me to different part of so cal to hike trails. When I was old enough I put 2 and 2 together and started riding my bikes at these trails. My first bike for trails was a gt bmx. My first real mountain bike was an old steel Raleigh. I snapped the fork on that in a couple months. The first real mountain bike that lasted more than a few months was a Gary Fisher.
