RAD Apparel Updates their 'Made In Colorado' Mountain Bike Jersey with a Move to Recycled Polyester

The bike community has spoken and the RAD crew has been listening. After the official debut of the Trail Chaser jersey, we reviewed the feedback and implemented some fresh changes. In an effort to make our jerseys, even more, RAD we will now be using recycled polyester in all of our construction moving forward. When we sourced our new 92% recycled material, we wanted to create a new vibrant design to celebrate. Inspired by the picturesque and energizing landscapes found in Sedona and here in Colorado, we are introducing the Vortex Jersey. We are committed to continuing to innovate our products in a way people can physically see and feel. This has resulted in a great fitting, performance-oriented jersey that is doing its part to help curb the use of virgin polyester construction.


In addition to using a more eco-conscience material, we still are able to manufacture everything in Colorado, as well as maintain a $55 price point.

During the design process of the Vortex jersey, we wanted to create something fresh and original that wasn't too busy, but still gives those dessert vibes when you're shredding all that red dirt.

RAD will continue to focus on creating small batches of different jersey graphics each season focusing on the design quality. In addition to jersey offerings, we also feature a full casual line of sustainably produced shirts for wear on and off the bike.
