Jan 22, 2024Cotic BFe Steel Hardtail
$850 GBPCotic BFe hardtail, custom build, spec as follows:
Rockshox Lyrik 160mm forks with lockout and maxle (2018)
Sram NX 11 speed groupset (cranks are Raceface)
WTB Vigilante tyres, tubeless with cushcore inserts, good tyre life left
Thompson Elite dropper
Raceface Atlas handlebars
Shimano wheels
Short stem (hussefelt)
DMR V11 pedals
Shimano SLX rear brake, Deore front brake, 203mm rotors
Hope quick release seat post and headset
Cotic branded grips and seat
Dropper post operates via lever on the seat post and does not currently have a handlebar lever.
Frame is 2015, runs well. Overall some scuffs but no rust or anything effecting performance. No dents / dings. Rear wheel is quick release. Happy to send some more detailed pics if interested.
Frame is paired with high spec parts. The bike is pretty unique and a lot of fun to ride. Very capable enduro / trail hardtail.
Reluctantly selling as with a little one on the way, the extra space and money will be useful.
Will consider swap for a small or medium ladies bike. Open to offers. Can deliver nearby. May consider selling individual parts.

May 10, 2015Top Spec - DMR exalt - spent £1000+
$450 GBPDMR Exalt frame (steel)
fox 36 talas forks, adjustable between 120mm-160mm travel
Very good condition shimarno saint cranks
Sram xo rear mech and shifter wih pg 990 cassette and 991 chain,
Avid juicy 5 rear brake, unfortunately there is currently no front break but am happy to thrown in a basic hydraulic one I have been meaning to fit, but better breaks would be a good idea before a serious race
Halo combat rear wheel Halo freedom front
crank brothers 50 50 pedals with adjustable gold colour scheme
Very tall, easily adjustable seat for easy set up changes
The bike has seen less use than I would have liked and is in good condition, having had a service recently. It is an excellent bike, and rides very well, it handles a variety of scenarios very well. I designed it for downhill circuits but the fact it is not full suspension also allows the bike to be effective on AM trails, jumps and is much more practical for general use. The galvanised steel hard tail frame also makes it ideal for improving bike control, and handling. I selected all the parts on the bike myself and they are some of the best around and are in good condition. I have lost track of how much I spent on the bike but is definitely £1000 plus, I need the money now as I am going to uni so looking to sell reasonably quickl. I would consider splitting for parts and taking offers, message me or pop me a text with any questions,
Rob
