The Reynold 309 XC Expert carbon wheels spoke noise is most likely caused by the Sapim CX-Ray bladed spoke profile. Where the spokes cross dirt gets in between the spokes and makes it sound like the spokes are loose under load. You just need to clean the spoke where they cross when you wash the wheels. I find it kind of annoying.
