Made a jig from the model, threw some mdf in the mill and drilled out a bunch of holes, and ran a million bolts through it to locate the tubes.

Started with a design, pulled measurements off of Linkage model and went from there. I did a little bit of FEA, it's not unbreakable, but it should hold up to reasonable crashes, steel is pretty beefy.
