My best buddy - 2015 Yeti SB5C. Couldnt believe how much better than the mojo it was.....had to buy it when I rode it..... :) Its a size L with X01 1x11, Fox 34 Float CTD (CTD is the only bad thing about the bike), Haven carbon bars, Thomson 50mm stem, XT icetek brakes, Reverb Dropper, Fizik Gobi seat. This is the first bike in ages that I've had that hasn't run Renthal bars - couldn't find a set of bars as low as the havens - and the SB5Cs head tube is soo long, you need super low bars to get your hands in the right position (or run stem reversed). Tried the Haven carbons and liked the feel, so kept em.

"old faithful" Redline 24" Flight Pro Cruiser Easy to ride fast, doesn't bite too often. Our bmx club has 40+ old guys registered in the 30Y+ division - a mix of cruisers and 20" - makes for great fun racing!

The 20" - to force the skills along a bit faster. Redline Flight Pro XL. Nice light front end with the box carbon forks. Manuals nicely. I dont think this frame is as stiff as the cruiser though - can feel the flex in the rear end on the ramp.

e-bike from front Not too bad a job of cable routing I reckon - not the messy nightmare I was worried I might end up with

JR homebuild e-bike from LHS Am already thinking about ways to make it better. Key thing I need to learn is how to hack / reprogram the controller to improve the smoothness of how the power delivery ramps up - its a little bit on/off at the 'mo - and in the higher power PAS settings (that'll be pedal assist setting) - the binary on off nature with 1500W is a little unnerving. Might need to swap the long cage Alivio derailleur for a nice Zee that I have lying around. I like the cheap steel cassette though - more likely to survive changes under power. New front brake setup will be huge improvement - XT with 180mm icetek rotor. Need to put a Fizik Gobi on it too - my butt hates the Giant seat. Good news is my knee (and my grin) REALLY like going up hills faast with no knee strain! Wohoo!

JR homebuild e-bike from RHS 99% Finished! Geez its fast - apparently I've had a 5 year olds Christmas grin on my face since I finished building it this morning. Base Giant ToughRoad SLR 2 bike with following mods: (boring bits first) Front derailleur / shifter etc removed. New rear Tektro Auriga e-brake Haven ali bars ODI Ruffians Thomson 90mm stem DMR Vault pedals Conti Contact II 700 x 42c tyres (now the fun stuff) BBS HD mid drive 54v 14.5ah Luna battery Lekkie Bling HD ring (42T) Have only got one e-brake so far - on the back - Auriga is better than I expected to be honest. New front XT brake setup on its way......if you ever build a grunty e-bike - put good brakes on it - you'll need them! I've got normal speed sensor (LH chainstay) + e-brake (Left, rear) hooked up to controller plus thumb throttle on LHS and gear change sensor (on RH chainstay). Have setup for max 30 Amps giving max 1620 W @ 54v Initial test rides had speed limited to 50 kph but was hitting that with 2 gears left, so have lifted it to 60. Very, very cool to be able to just throttle up hills :)

The Mojo HD as she currently is. Got her running 150mm up front, 140mm rear. I prefer it this way to 160mm f/r as is more nimble and pedals better. Marzocchi 44 RC3Ti is amaxing. XT cranks, 32T chainring, 1x10 XT and chain device. Formula ORO brakes, gravity dropper post, Fizik Gobi seat, PointOne Racing Stem, Easton Haven Carbon bars, ODI Peaty lockons. Hope Pro II hubs, ZTR Flow rims. Maxxis Crossmark on rear and Minion DHF on front. Comes in just under 28lbs with pedals (Shimano M647's).

The SS2......love this bike. And its arrival means the Mojo doesnt get beaten up on the shuttles any more! DHX 4 coil, Fox Float 36 front, Avid Elixir CR brakes, 1-9 X0 with road cluster and 34T front chainring. New wheels make a huge difference - new Flow EX's on Hope Pro II's are sensational. DMR Vaults are brilliant. Weaknesses are the raceface respond cranks, bars, stem, seatpost. Those bits are next years job. The list is currently: Renthal Fatbars, Thomson 1.5" Stem, Thomson seatpost, Saint cranks. Then, when I get sick of servicing the Float, I'll put a Marzocchi 55 RC3Ti on the front......
